The book says it's a required course, just the time you take it is
voluntary.

Maybe different books (or teachers) say something different.

Why come to an ACIM newsgroup, then?

Other people's egos are a part of you? Where do you store them?

So, you don't truly resonate with ACIM, that's what you're saying? If it's a solitary path only
for the rarified few who do, are you claiming that no one who discusses ACIM with anyone else
resonates with it either?

Do you consider that you are suffering from the ACIM Effect yourself?

"The ACIM effect aka the Dunning-Kruger effect - "...when people are incompetent in the
strategies they adopt to achieve
success and satisfaction, they suffer a dual burden: Not only do they reach erroneous conclusions
and make unfortunate choices, but their incompetence robs them of the ability to realize it.
Instead, ...they are left with the mistaken impression that they are doing just fine."

Also, who do you get your Guidance from?

Hope you don't mind questions. I'm big on questions. That bothers some people a lot, due to
the above mentioned syndrome, one would be tempted to suspect. WDYT?
