Hi Katie,
My answer is: yes.
Though the initiative in achieving it
always is with anyone him/herself; it always
is one's own responsibility. (Someone else's
initiative isn't mine, so "converting others"
makes no sense!) If the initiative is there,
all help will be present.

Anyone else? I thought it to be a pretty simple question, but I guess
it does require a commitment to something, so I realize the problem.
-.-.-. It is a simple question;
what "commitment" are you aiming at;
what would be the "problem" in its respect?

"A Scientologist can be defined by their answer to a single

At least a Scientologist is expected to be able to answer a simple
question with a simple response. That's gotta be a plus!!

Not a well posed question. Others already possess the same
knowledge I have. Pick a different direct object to make the
question answerable in terms of ACIM if you really want an
answer which I doubt given your history.

I speak English, not ACIMese Cult Speak, which changes routinely with
each shuffle of the Cult.
Redefining words from the dictionary meaning to Special and Important
meanings that make the Culties smugly nod your heads because only you
**really** know what they mean is called Loading the Language. It's
one criteria by which we identify a destructive cult.
The question is extremely straightforward. If you can't understand
it or answer it because you're in a destructive ACIM cult, you should
get out of that cult immediately.
What I'm getting from these responses is that you're all afraid to
answer a simple question because you don't want to be responsible for
the answer. You're scared of being criticized.
