Does anyone agree with me that ACIM is simple?

This is part of a post I did earlier and I wondered if anyone agreed
with me.

I believe ACIM is simple. There are a lot of hard to understand parts
in it that take a lot of thought but the gist of it is simple. Take
the lessons over a year's time. Spend time and effort looking within...

One idea I like in the Course is that you can put your ego under Christ-
control. Ask Jesus to take care of it.

It's an idea with a lot of problems, but there are things which need doing.
We need to associate our ego with our soul/spirit, not easy as they are not
in communication. "I cannot guide your egos EXCEPT as you associate them with
your Souls." This association allows the ego to become Christ-controlled,
removing that burden from us.

The ego as such cannot be made into something good, and saved in that way,
but it can be trained. And once relinquished, even that part of our thought
is brought into eternity in purified form.

"The ego IS a contradiction. Man's self and God's Self ARE in opposition.
They are opposed in creation, in will, and in outcome. They are fundamentally
irreconcilable because the Soul cannot perceive, and the ego cannot know.
They are therefore NOT IN COMMUNICATION, and can never BE in communication.
Nevertheless the ego can learn, because its maker can be misguided, but
CANNOT make the totally lifeless out of the life-given. The Soul need not be
taught, but the ego MUST."

Yes, I agree with you that ACIMheads are simpletons.

If you saw an attack, that was your thought. If you saw someone
thinking that they were attacking you, that was also your thought, and
neither have anything to do with actuality. Studying or claiming or
pretending to study ACIM doesn't make you a mind reader, but it does
require you to indulge in that offensive behavior nevertheless. You
might want to stop that, it can become a nasty habit, and it's not
very speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerithual.

You are stuck in an Infinity Loop of Ignorance, george. Every
"benefit" you think you've gotten from ACIM is some kind of a mindfuck
you're playing on yourself.

The FACT that you see this post as me thinking I'm attacking you is
evidence enough of that.
