Questions about - The Disappearance of the Universe?
>I guess for starters I am confused about the title. Why would he suggest the possible disappearance of the >universe unless he is convinced that it was not created by God.
Because "it" the universe of form, was not created by God...
>And yet ACIM tells me -Everything MEETS in God because everything was created BY Him and IN him.
Yes everything was created by Him, but the form universe...
>From that I go to - the universe was created by God.
Yes this is the temptation, to impose duality on God, both you & God
cannot both exist. I know this is a difficult one but if you take it
into your meditation you will get it!
>And God everything God creates is eternal, therefore the universe will always be, as will the world, onlynot in its >physical state, which came whenego/separation/illusion seemingly altered God'screation, which He created >perfect and unalterable.
I say, "I am not here, you are not here, the world is not here. There
is nothing but God, all else is the folly of illusion including all of
that I seem to be..." Atonement is going home, leaving the constructed
world/self and choosing ONLY God...
"There is no world" was taught by the Buddha, by Jesus and by the
great Hindu Saints - it is not a new idea in the world but it is
almost impossible to grasp it here.

Pure ego thinking. This is what I keep pointing out the Course calls this
stuff, to little avail.

He said today that "the dream" is just metaphor. I don't agree with
that. I think that's one area where the course is literal.

If YOU are real, Robin, then every moment of your
experience is real. You IMPART reality by merit of
what you are.
