Day Four of the Zombie attack.
I'm going to sit here at my computer awhile longer just in case
another zombie waddles in. A minor zombie ellen stumbled by about 15
minutes ago and vomited a bunch of crap. Something about me being
Wayne. I've said this before, I'll say it again: that zombie is just
not all there. Not that you would expect zombies to be all there
anyway. But, wow, this ellen zombie takes the cake.
I dont know where the other zombies are -- deborah and gene. Maybe
they're sleeping. It's kind of funny tho, I didnt think zombies slept.
Well, maybe I'm confusing them with vampires.
Speaking of vampires, vi wonder where the other two halves of the
*smirk* sisters are hanging out lately. The vampire carrie and the
head vampire lotus bulb. Since carrie needs a baby sitter I'm sure
than now that "ellie jellyfish" has left the vampires to be a wanna-be
zombie, lotus bulb would have had to take over the reins of the
vampire franchise.

In my continuing interest of deep teachings..
i stumbled upon a picture of Ramana Maharshi and Yogananda shaking hands
with a man named Paul Brunton.
I did a quick search on him and started reading some of his writings.
Below is a piece i thought might be an interesting read for some of you. It
seems to tie in with some of the topics that have been discussed lately.
For me, it runs hand in hand with much of the course teachings.., on It's
deepest level.
I would enjoy hearing thoughts on this... )
It's kinda long....

In grammar, sentences are built up basically from three things: a subject, a
verb, and an object, with the subject acting upon the object through the
verb. A sentence is not considered complete unless...

Why is it, deborah, that every time you get your panties in a knot you
have a flashback on Wayne? You've been doing it again in your zombie
war. You've done it before. Why is that?

If you have been reading the newsgroup over the past few days, you
would have seen many posts I wrote. You would have also seen a pattern
of replies, first by the poster gene, then by the poster deborah, and
last by the poster ellen. Time after time. This rapid fire response on
their part is called by some who no longer post here a "zombie
attack." And it is has been a typical behavioral event over the years
here in the newsgroup. The zombies, having been offended by ideas that
are not in strict, rigid line with their orthodox religious
perspective, ban together in teams and harass the offender. And,
usually, said "offender" ends up leaving the newsgroup. That is the
zombies' purpose: To drive off the unorthodox poster.

Note he says "mistake". A mark of authenticity?

You trust your feelings. That, in my opinion, sets you apart.
ACIM tends to turn our thinking upside down, as it is intended.
I think I have run into a number of students who never right
that ship of common sense. We tend to get caught up in
the theory and the concepts and the consistency of each.
And we fail to put the principles into practice.
You don't do that. You don't 'over think' things. That's to
the good, I think. In the final analysis the rights or wrongs
of one's individual interpretation of ACIM may not be as
important as living by those principles we do not quibble
over. As much as the Course urges us not to seperate
and isolate from each other, from God, the more we
sometimes tend to do so. That old authority problem
rears its ugly head when ever possible.
