I'm aware I fall short of the goal of consistent courtesy. But it's a good
goal to bear in mind, and to aim towards.

W-pI.61.2. To the ego, today's idea is the epitome of
self-glorification. 2 But the ego does not understand
humility, mistaking it for self-debasement. 3 Humility
consists of accepting your role in salvation and in taking
no other. 4 It is not humility to insist you cannot be the
light of the world if that is the function God assigned to
you. 5 It is only arrogance that would assert this function
cannot be for you, and arrogance is always of the ego.

I turned on the TV in the middle of it.

He was talking about Iraq and how much better it is now, how before
women were oppressed, little girls couldn't go to school, etc. (of
course that was their culture, their way of life. If another country
didn't agree with the USA and our way of life and culture and started
bombing and talking over, what would happen? Taking over another
country "for it's own good", isn't that dictatorship?) And, it's
already come out that Iraq wasn't being 9-11 and didn't have WMD.

He was also talking about the economy and how we should be
optimistic, because how people feel about it is going to effect what
they do (and probably effect the economy more, like the domino effect)
LIke people should pretend it's differnt than it is, like he does.

Then he started JOKING with the reporters. Laughing. One woman asked
another question and he joked (I wasn't sure at first he was joking,
even though he was laughing) about how she had already asked a
question and he hadn't let others ask more, or sub questions, etc. He
was LAUGHING and joking and having a good old time.

REAL NATURE OF SOUL

As early as 3000 BC during the Vedic times , the Rishis investigated
the nature of reality from two levels of experience, one of which may
be called the absolute, acosmic or transcendental level and the other
relative, cosmic or phenomenal level. At the phenomenal level one
perceives the universe of diversity and is aware of one's own
individual ego, whereas at the transcendental level, the differences
merge into an inexplicable non dual consciousness. Both of these
levels of experience are real from their respective standpoints,
though what is perceived at one level may be negated at the other.

Reality experienced at the transcendental level is called Supreme
soul . This term denotes the non-dual Pure consciousness which
pervades the universe yet remains outside it.(Just as the sun pervades
all life on earth yet remains outside it). Supreme soul is described
as the first principle; from it all things are derived, by it all are
supported, and into it all finally disappear. In Supreme soul alone
the apparent differences of the phenomenal world are unified. Supreme
soul is identical with the self of man, known as atman.

The committee has met in an extraordinary post midnight session
tonight to resolve the question of whether to remove the poster gene
from the Official Zombie List. Significant consideration went into the
