Bye bye to a dearly loved canine

Author: thula
Date: Jan 27, 2008 20:53

Today, just a few hours ago, my loyal, confident, beloved and loving
Tingdog had an accident, my canine companion of 13 years.

He was hit by a car, but he did not suffer. The vet said he died
instantly.

In my distress several people came to be with me, and helped me to get
Tingdog to the local veterinary hospital. His instant death was
confirmed.

Then two two helpful bystanders brought me and Tingdog's body home,
and one of them dug his little grave, and the other comforted me and
listened to my story of the memory to Tingdog.

A neighbour came by to help me with lawn mowing, and a little later
two neighbours came over, so the helpful bystander could leave.

And now Tingdog is buried, with help from my neighbours, in the
garden that he loved, with his own little blanket, his poochy-biscuits
and his water bowl.

Tonight I will bring some flowers there, the lovely white japanese
jasmin, and a neighbour has promised me a tiny head stone.

One day a florist goes to a barber for a haircut. After the cut he asked
about his bill and the barber replies, "I cannot accept money from you. I'm
doing community service this week." The florist was pleased and left the
shop. When the barber goes to open his shop the next morning there is a
'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the
barber again replies, "I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community
service this week." The cop is happy and leaves the shop. The next morning
when the barber goes to open up there is a 'thank you' card and a dozen
donuts waiting for him at his door.

Later that day, a college professor comes in for a haircut, and when he
tries to pay his bill, the barber again replies, "I cannot accept money from
you. I'm doing community service this week." The professor is very happy
and leaves the shop. The next morning when the barber opens his shop, there
is a 'thank you' card and a dozen different books, such as "How to Improve
Your Business" and "Becoming More Successful.

by making these claims to me, rather than about yourself, you separate us.
your claims here assume that i do not already experience what you claim that
i can experience, or that i have not. i submit to you that you are incorrect
here.

the world is just the world. it is not a barometer of anything because it
does not change. what changes is the mind. the money that the bank
"discovered" was there all along, what changed is that someone became aware
of its presence and informed you about it. the money did not just appear out
of nowhere.

it is quite arrogant on your part to assume without having any proof that
"most people" do not wish to practice or even understand what can only be
your idea of forgiveness. you have no way of knowing what "most people"
think. the only people you have any way of knowing anything about are those
you experience personally. if most of the people that you experience
personally don't want to practice forgiveness, or even understand what it
is, then by your own standard of it being a barometer, your world is telling
you that something is quite wrong with your thoughts.

This is one glaring example of how ACIM is a destructive belief
system. It exonerates people like you who are malicious, hateful, and
quite capable of causing harm and damage to others, by telling you
that you are "innocent" and "forgiven". Besides inciting vile people
to continue being vile, the two assertions are not even congruent.

The other direction. You're not well. You are malicious for sport
and pleasure, so much so that you concoct fantasy characters to
despise and then you play out delusions of yourself punishing them for
doing all the bad things you hallucinate them doing. I see why you
gravitate to the ACIM "religion" for Haters in Denial and finger-
pointing hypocrites.

I hope you get better before succeed in doing the harm you like to
fantasize that you're doing.

If Carrie posted that, you'd be straight up her ass. You can ignore
Steven's idiotic blatherings you don't like just as easily as you
constantly nag Carrie that she can bypass the idiotic blatherings that
don't support her superstitions.

Finger-pointing hypocrite!

You sure do complain a lot for someone who complains to others about
complaining a lot.
That makes you a double-back-flipping complainer and a finger-pointing
hypocrite to boot!

Why don't you just get real and admit that you enjoy the pilings on
that you get to incite and join in on in Cult world, until the pile is
on you, of Curse!!

Are you trying to redeem yourself from Wayne Austin's abuse by being a
better Wayne?

There's no law that says you have to ignore the e-mail. It's a valid
observation, in fact. Bill just felt like starting another inevitable
Cult Pile-on, clearly.

Not that you don't seem to quite like being piled on. Let's be honest
about that part of the destructive co-dependent Cult behavior as well.
