Lesson 10 - My thoughts do not mean anything

Author: thula
Date: Jan 9, 2008 20:38

In this lessons' practice I need to decide that all my thoughts apply
to meaninglessness, that I cannot sort out the true from the false
alone.
I find great comfort in this:
> Today's idea can obviously serve for any thought that distresses you
> at any time.

It is not always yet obvious to me what is of distress and what is
not.
The very assurance I receive by acknowledging the availability to me
of this very concept produces a wonderful effect of peacefulness that
is reborn each instant I keep this message in mind.

In this peacefulness different thoughts are born, more closely related
to innocence, and miracles, and an overlooking of all that my brother
seems to do, or what I seem to think.

Much love happens.

  Fundamental Change

Author: Mike
Date: Jan 9, 2008 09:24

I have come to the conclusion
that confrontation is ineffective.
And so I lay down the gauntlet.
To paraphrase Chief Joseph,
"I shall attack no more forever."

And in the words of Seth,
" what blessings I have to give
I give to you".

Adieu.

  wisdom from the elders

hi gang,

Next Sunday, our weekly live radio podium starts the new year season.

We will welkom new citizens, a couple moving to our city from Amsterdam,
after no less than 71 years of marriage, parents of our dear Arthur.
So, I inquired at the mayor's
office, and were then introduced to our resident elderly couple with 73
years
of marriage. I have visited them today and enjoyed almost two hours
of sharing memories, visions and wisdom. They happily join the show on
coming Sunday, where we then welkom our new citizens together.

Funnily, a pre-planned item, long before this developped, is a jazz singer
performance with
songs from this particular decade. Those things are always nice to notice,
in retrospect, seeing Spirit's hand at work. I am an instrument every time,
and then see the bigger picture evolving, which is often breathtakingly
beautiful for everyone involved. Miracles abound.

  Carrie in "not judging" mode

By "more", Carrie, what -exactly- do you mean?

After all, if "you only see what you choose to
see", & "how you see it is how it is for you",
then any lack in Lee is simply what you choose
to see, (according to your pontifications), so
what -exactly- would you expect from him? This
little mantra of yours comes back to haunt you
again & again, Carrie. Either you believe what
you keep repeating, in which case expectations
on your part should be nil, or you don't truly
believe your admonitions, in which case you're
a hypocrite. You can't have it both ways here.
