Life explained

First, God created the dog and said:

"Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or

walks past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years."

The dog said: "That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten years

and I'll give you back the other ten?"

So God agreed.

Second, God created the monkey and said:

"Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give
you a twenty-year life span."

The monkey said: " Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a pretty long
time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the dog did?"

And God agreed.

Third, God created the cow and said:

" You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer
under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family
. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years."

The cow said: "That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for
sixty years. How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?"

In the black and white world of learning to recognise truth from lies,
I need to create a reality that reflects my true self. I want colour,
music, happiness and love in its many forms.

In the flux of greyness merging black and white I stand in a vortex of
seeming mind-sets that all seem to want to be recognised as real.

And in this greyness - I can choose not to invest it with any value. I
can choose to flow in my mind and thoughts into what I prefer my mind
to contain. The power of decision is my own.

And I choose not to believe the illusions of the mind - I choose to
let go of depression, uncertainty and anything that tries to dominate
my mind from the outside.

The Holy Spirit knows. The Holy Spirit knows all things for me that I
need to know, and will keep all things safe for me that I have not yet
integrated into myself.

God is an idea, a concept, that reaches far above all thinking of the
world. Yet through the Messenger of love, the Holy Spirit seeks to
restore all into their own wholeness.

All these things are ideas that separate man from God: wars, abuse,
being victim, or alone - all this cannot be true in my spirit.
