  The face of innocence

I want to share what I think the face of innocence is. If you don’t
agree with me then I’d love to hear your thoughts on what you think it
is.

The face of innocence is the way I deflect responsibility for my
behavior, thoughts and actions and put them onto someone or something
else. IOW you made me do this instead of taking responsibility for my
own actions and thoughts. It’s the way of projecting my own evilness
onto someone or something else INSTEAD of taking responsibility for my
evilness and letting it be corrected.

I’ll give an example from my own life. I’ve stated this one before
here and I like it as it illustrates the idea. I got cut off by a
driver and screamed an obscenity at them. I felt out of peace, so I
applied ACIM and asked for a different way to see the idiot driver and
was told, well maybe they just didn’t see you. That makes sense to me
and there is no reason to scream at anyone. Next time I’ll try not to,
as it makes no sense to scream at someone for not seeing me.

Okay so how does this relate to the face of innocence? At the start of
this, I was screaming at the other idiot driver because he cut me off.
So I’m in the right, he made me scream an obscenity at him...

THE HOPE OF CHRISTMAS

Christ is not born but neither does He die,
And yet He is reborn in everyone.
The rising and the birth are one in Him,
For it is in the advent of God's Son
The light of resurrection is begun.

Heaven needs no nativity. And yet
The Son of Heaven needs the world to be
His birthplace, for the world is overcome
Because a Child is born. And it is He
