I asked this a few days ago, but google groups had scheduled maintenece on
jan 9 and some of them are still down, so don't know if it got posted or
answered.
>>>>who contemptibly set
themselves up as a Teacher of God or anti-cult cults.
What do you use for criteria to decide who is a Teacher of God and who
contempibly sets themselves up to be? What do you base this (judgment-
seeing it as conemptibly) on? And you are putting this together with
someone who sets themself up as an anti cult-cult? Like it's the same
thing?
Going by the course, it says "a Teacher of God is anyone who chooses to be
one". It doesn't seem to give any way for "someone else" to decide if this
is real or not. It seems like a personal decision, maybe with one's OWN
Innter Guidance and Holy Spirit?
And, going by the charter you keep reposting here, this seems to be in
line with course topics to ask what you are basing this on and where you get
it (how to judge and decide about it) in ACIM?

For He gives me life! Sweet Life! And without His Touch I am but without
existence. Without all that ever was, is, ever will be or ever could be.
Without sight, without sound. Without rhyme, without reason... Without
doubt! Without treason! But His love is the breath in my lungs! The taste of
my tongue! The sting in the stung! ...His Love is my life.
...And the end of these words.

I am divinely restored to health of mind and body.
Just as physical challenges present an opportunity for healing, so, too, do
negative thought patterns. The first step to healing is letting...

That's pretty amazing!
Hmm... I wonder if that was really a submarine disguised as a tug boat?
Great pics! Thanks, Tom.

It's a classic case of buying the shoe first and then trying to get it to fit later. There's an
epidemic of blisters, bunions and hammertoes around this little Cult of Denial!

Sheesh gig, there are so many other possibilities beyond the two you
have chosen in an attempt to bind us. Irony, sarcasm, parody all can be
seen in what we wrote.

You know, I'm looking at the new Ur reference (thanks again Doug, Deborah
and Lee) and pulled up psychotic, of which there are 5 references though
pretty close together and contained within the same passages/area.
When I read this:
"The psychotic tries to escape by establishing the truth of his own errors."
I have done this in thinking that there was any truth within a psychotic
episode. Apparently everything that happened, and all my thoughts were a
lie of the variety that I couldn't seem to help at all.
"Every aspect of fear proceeds from upside-down perception. The TRULY
creative devote their efforts to correcting this. The neurotic devotes his
to compromise. The psychotic tries to escape by establishing the truth of
his own errors. It is most difficult to free him by ordinary means, only
because he is more stable in his denial of truth."
There is more said about "the psychotic" and would ask that someone(s) look
at it and give me some further thoughts. This throws me, because many
people (including myself) have had psychotic breaks, but don't stay in a
psychotic state. I don't consider myself "truly creative" or "neurotic"
either one at this point. I am only here, and pretty stable at that.
Thanks in advance for thoughts.
