Jed McKenna -- is he for real?

Author: NoVA101

I just listened to "Spiritual Enlightenment: The Damnedest Thing" by
Jed McKenna.

Has anyone else read his stuff? Thoughts??

He mostly knows what he is talking about, and comes to the No-Self
conclusion, but there seem to be some problems, such as:

- It really sounds like he might be a totally made up character some
anonymous author created just to write this book. (not necessarily
bad, just interesting)

- He believes he has "The Way" and all other gurus are full of crap.
Uh oh!

- He is in Iowa down the street from the TM folks. Hmmm.

- He obviously doesn't understand Buddhism.

- etc.

Just wondering if he is for real, or whatever.

rough paraphrase of lyrics:

"this is a song about nothing,
so that the brats can dance
cop a feel of butt...

"and take a break and see who's king of shooting booze..."...

as i iz from L.A., that wuz the main use of Bronson Caves if i

don't believe everything you read in "The Map To The Star's Homes"...
