AB, again, when is avijja empirica, and when is it ontological?

So?
Desert is the condition resulting from lack of water. That does not
mean water does not exist. So?

Water exist, in desert, it merely lacks water. It doesn't mean it
doesn't exist. Hey, have you heard of the word, "cactus"?

Joyous Life Release this morning was slightly warm but the attitude of
all who joined the ceremony of life release was with clear mind and
heart filled with joy.We went to the Pusatan Makanan market and first
purchased the fish from the butcher to save the life ,more than twenty
large fish lives were saved and then we moved onto one cute baby
turtle ,and some twenty five birds ,many numerous crickets, and some
small fish also some twenty five frogs hopped and swam into freedom
into the water of the park lake. The animal shared the joy and
happiness with us and the birds sang as the flew to freedom, the frogs
and some fish sat on the surface of the water to hear the Namgyalma
mantra OM DHRUM SOHA OM AMRITA AYUR DADE SOHA which can purify their
karma and save them from lower rebirth .We performed a small Namgyalma
fire puja for those three sangha members who had passed away .We in
the next fish release will print and laminate some Namgyalma mantra
OM DHRUM SOHA OM AMRITA AYUR DADE SOHA for placing in the water and I
recommend everyone who is connected with Buddhism to do this in oceans
and rivers and lakes .first you print the mantra and then laminate it
then gently place into the water and all the beings karma in that
water is liberated.

Hi,

Correct reference is Nidd I 325:

You said "Eternal bliss is the soul".
When pointed out the context, "He sees name and form 'as permanent, as
bliss, as self", you said you don't care how I translate atta.
Before you can move on, you have to admit that either (1) you lied,
(2) you don't know Pali or (3) you are refuted).
If you do not admit, then you admit that name and form (nama- rupa) is
permanent (eternal), is bliss, is soul. LOL!
Pick one, AB.

Hi,
AB refuted once and for all. Read below and make your own conclusion.
The below is written by a Buddhist scholar and Pali expert.
> Mahanidesapali 2.235 "niccato sukhato attatoti" Eternal bliss in the
>Soul
Correct reference is Nidd I 325:
He sees name and form 'as permanent, as bliss, as self'
then below:
after seeing, he will know that 'as permanent, as bliss, as self'
in each case explained as he does not see/know rise and fall, etc. of
those dhammas.
>Nettipakaranapali #86 "anicce niccanti, anattani attati" "What is
>anatta is impermanent, what is eternal is the Soul"
This refers to the two distortions which see 'something permanent as
regards what is impermanent and something which is a self as regards
what is without a self'
>Silakhandhavaggapali Att. 2.377 atta'nan niccameva "Soul is
eternal"

Hi,
> YOU wrote that.......and signed it............ nice dodge. .......
Are you sure. Go check the post which I wrote on Dec 23, 8.18am, in
the thread, "Tang Huyen shoots himself in the foot. Admits he doesnt
know pali/sanskrit ,yet is sure "who is right"
Let me quote the post I wrote again here:

A friend of mine wrote this many, many years ago:
The "non-born," etc is a favorite passage of those who try to find

If you still do not want to admit your mistake (you always do not), my
conclusion is that you are suffering from psychosis. Go see a
psychiatrist or a psychologist.

If you refuse to continue the discussion offlist, then I will have to
move on. I do not wish to spent so much time battling with you. Life
is short, my battle has not been won (nirvana).
For my own spiritual practise, I have contemplated for a long time
regarding the issue you brought up. And I have come to my own
conclusion.
If you wish to remember that I lost, and you won, so be it.
"Victory breeds hatred. The defeated live in pain.
Happily the peaceful live, giving up victory and defeat."

Translation "i conceed"
Its good that you contemplate same, however your "own conclusions" are
just that, yours, not buddhisms.
you are not a truth-seeker, you only attempt to promulgate your own
BS.
a Truth seeker is happy to A: be proven wrong.........and B: be proven
right.
