Several of those people are well known writers. You're not, and
probably
never will be. -------- Seorges Gorel

Who said i was interested in being well known? You pathetic ass.

It suffices enough that one, myself, is accurate and consistent....to
hell with being well known.

Strawman fallacy you pathetic asshole. I made no such claim as being
desirous of being 'well known'

If only you were HALF as intelligent and you aggrandize yourself to
be.

The entire premise is that there are almost NO non-sectarian scholars
of buddhism who agree that earliest buddhism was::

Is Tricycle magazine still in print?

Author: ancientbuddhism

Are they still printing that rag-mag toilet-paper substitute??
tricycle magazine?

Im sure theyre still staying alive by selling ADDS for ass-kissing
comfy ZAFUS......LOL

Tricycle recently dismissed its former editor and is scrambling to
stay afloat by puckering
up to any and all agencies which it deems might offer it money. The
vast majority of the staff from this magazine is geared for one
purpose alone, that being the sales of adds which peddle garbage:
brass statues, zafus, incense
sticks, or outrageously expensive courses given by new-ager 'gurus'
on how to touch your inner child. This magazine caters to Western
materialists who have a complete indifference to both illumination and
wisdom.
Unfortunately both magazines are printed on slick paper, so even the
usefulness of wiping ones ass with theses magazine's pages is
diminished.

Yes, Evey..... I wear a beanie hat with a propellor on top, ...and
have one wandering eye and I believe i am the reincarnation of
Napoleon too. (LoL) Hehe!

Evelyn reminds of the pathetic post-menopausal lonely, fat and ugly
broads with saggy mamaries over on buddhachat.org who want to quash
ANY and ALL discussion of metaphysics/ buddhism etc.

i.e. a pathetic and "miserable broad without any worth as pertaining
Philosophy whatsoever" - F. Peters

ok well i survived christmas, although i am bloated like a
little tonky pig, and it often occurred to me, to ask why i
do it...i'm not a christian, not that there is that much
religion left in this festival of commodification, but still
i make sufficient efforts to put me in a state of exhaustion
by christmas day, even if things do not quite 'come off'. i
screwed up xmas cards again this year, and for the first
time ever, didn't quite manage the tree, which i usually get
up by christmas eve. this year i managed to get 3 baubles
on the sweet little fir shrub mike brought, which we can
plant out...

one thing it's about is families, and mine got off to a good
start a couple of days before hand when unusually, my sister
called me to tell me her partner is a bastard and she'd had
enough. she'd had a few too many, so she was right about
the last bit, and i knew the family get together on boxing
day would be lively, and it was.

MORE STILL, on Bill Pfeifer's statement that: The common statement "there is no atman" almost drove me away from

The common statement "there is no atman" almost drove me away from
Buddhism.
**********

this is why, due to sarvastivada/theravada "buddhism" died in India
long ago.... and which was written:::

"Buddhism (modern) is an extremely sick religion inhabited by
atheists, agnostics, and at best pantheists. They congregate together
at 'dharma-centers', which are little more than
outpatient mental wards for depressed materialists, and engage in idle
chatter about attainment of oblivion and the denial of all things
spiritual.
The only difference between the typical 'Buddhist' and the Islamo-
Fascist suicide bomber who straps explosives to himself and enters a
crowd of infidels, is that the 'Buddhist' has set
out to annihilate himself only, thru spiritual euthanasia practices.
Both of these types are the worst lot of demons which roam samsara and
plague others with their bestial ignorances."

Ive heard EXACTLY this many many times both in lecture and often by
email. Namely an man with 1/10th a brain, it goes against the spirit
(no pun intented) of most of mankind fathom a religion or metaphysics
which denies the Atman/Soul.

This is why modern buddhism is aught but a cowpie with flies and
maggots buzzing about it. (rahula and demons in his league)

Three friends of mine, one a professor of Philosophy in Florida, the
other a Graduate of Philosophy, and yet another said the EXACT SAME
words you used above. They werent however ever involved in buddhism,
but that it , superficially seemed (from BS commentarialists like B.
bodhi and others) to deny the Atman, was utterly , and rightly so,
repulsive to them.

Seorges Gorel, Yet another herd-animal lemming giving praise to the "herd consensus"

He does it because he's a mentally disturbed crackpot who knows that
nothing
he says will ever be taken seriously by real scholars.

Yes, im the same sort of person of which was called a "crackpot" such
as DaVinchi and other "crackpots" who werent lemming mental midgets
who were HERD animals following other idiots off the cliff of
ignorance.

I assume you dont know that consensus only means "idiots rule"

Who is paid to lecture on buddhism between the 2 of us? Yes, it is
I, not thou.

Im the SAME SORT OF crackpost as these renowned Buddhologists and
scholars: Dr. C.A.F. Rhys Davids, George Grimm, S. Radhakrishnan, J.
Perez-Ramon, G.C. Pande, I.B. Horner, Dr. A.K. Coomaraswamy, Julius

RAHULAS favorite goon, B. Bodhi, aka Jeffrey Dhamma-er

The attainment of liberation, for Buddhism, does not come to pass by
the
>realization of a true self or absolute "I," but through the
>dissolution of even the subtlest sense of selfhood in relation to the
>five aggregates, "the abolition of all I-making, mine-making, and
>underlying tendencies to conceit."
------BHIKKHU BODHI

Holy goddamn shit, even my pet mental midget Rahula has yet to say
something this stupid.......

In saying "dissolution of even the subtlest sense of selfhood" he has
only said the PREMISE of buddhism, rightly so is the via negativa
disobjectification of the immaterial citta from all material
objectivity, i.e. cittavimutta , which is of course the Atman in both
Buddhism and Upanishads, and Advaita, and the B. Gita. .......

This genuine jackass has the balls to talk about "realization" but in
the same second denies the locus, or "true self" which attains the
noetic and metaphysical gnosis that "these khandhas are NA ME SO ATTA
(not my soul)".
