Rejection of the Guardianship leads to spiritual death

Author: Jeffrey
Date: Apr 4, 2008 16:44

Before Charles Mason Remey announced to the Bahá'í world that he had
been appointed by Shoghi Effendi to be the second Guardian, he made a
number of private appeals to the Custodian Hands to patiently explain
to them how and why their scheme to elect a Universal House of Justice
without the Guardian as its sacred head was a violation of the
Master's Will and Testament and to urge them to accept his authority
as the President of the International Bahá'í Council, an office that
was synonymous with being the second Guardian. Those appeals, which
are partially quoted below, can be found here: http://www.bahai-guardian.com/appeals.

First, Mason Remey points out that the life of the Faith results from
the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and spiritual death results from
being cut off from this Spirit released in this Day by Bahá'u'lláh:

"In the teachings of the Bahá'í Faith we are constantly reminded that
it is only through the operation of THE HOLY SPIRIT that the divine
blessings of the Abhá Kingdom can give mankind spiritual life,...

The true source of universal principles

Author: diamondsouled

Hello all,

Any person with enough ego to say and believe such a patently stupid
as well as vain thing can be safely ignored:

The first duty prescribed by God for His servants is the recognition
of Him Who is the Day Spring of His Revelation and the Fountain of His
laws, Who representeth the Godhead in both the Kingdom of His Cause
and the world of creation. Whoso achieveth this duty hath attained
unto all good; and whoso is deprived thereof, hath gone astray, though
he be the author of every righteous deed. It behoveth every one who
reacheth this most sublime station, this summit of transcendent glory,
to observe every ordinance of Him Who is the Desire of the world.
These twin duties are inseparable. Neither is acceptable without the
other. Thus hath it been decreed by Him Who is the Source of Divine
inspiration.

Baha'u'llah's "Most Pure Tablet" Released in English Translation

HAIFA, Israel -- April 1, 2008

The Baha'i World Center has released the first official English
translation of an epistle of Baha'u'llah entitled the "Most Pure
Tablet" [excerpt appended to this article]. This significant work,
believed to have been revealed in the 1870's during Baha'u'llah's
confinement in the prison-city of Akka and addressed to a pilgrim,
contains profound observations on the importance of cleanliness and
purity, both physical and spiritual.

"At a time when the average person did not bathe regularly,
Baha'u'llah had the prophetic insight to admonish the people in the
name of God to take regular baths and use cleansing products such as
soap," said Dr. Ahmaq Al-Kabir, Baha'i spokesperson. "This is a clear
and unquestionable example of how the revelations of the Lord
descended upon the Founder of the Baha'i Faith and enabled Him to
supernaturally transform the world," he said, pointing out that since
this tablet was revealed the frequency of bathing and showering has
dramatically increased in most countries and regions.

Dr. Ahmaq Al-Kabir also explained that the Most Pure Tablet addresses
the important issue of spiritual purity, specifically, the necessity
of shunning those who protest against the revelations of God and...

BAHAI LEADERS AND THEIR FOLLOWERS SHOULD TRY TO ACT LIKE BAHAIS

Author: giovanni_cuad

Too few Baha'is heed these repeated admonitions of Abdu'l-Baha aboutt
how they should treat others with courtesy and love, even other
Baha'is whose interpretations about the Faith and its leaders differ
widely in these time. Here are some of the words of Abdu'l-Baha that
the leaders of all the current Baha'i groups and their followers
should take to heart and live by..............

"O army of God! Beware lest ye harm any soul, or make any heart to
sorrow; lest ye wound any man with your words, be he known to you or a
stranger, be he friend or foe. Pray ye for all; ask ye that all be
blessed, all be forgiven. Beware, beware, lest any of you seek
vengeance, even against one who is thirsting for your blood. Beware,
beware, lest ye offend the feelings of another, even though he be an
evil-doer, and he wish you ill. Look ye not upon the creatures, turn
ye to their Creator. See ye not the never-yielding people, see but the
Lord of Hosts. Gaze ye not down upon the dust, gaze upward at the
shining sun, which hath caused every patch of darksome earth to glow
with light."
