Re: The Baha'i Covenent used as a weapon

Author: Kent Johnson

Talk about selective hearing, Larry. How much clearer can I ask you: What
would satisfy you? Do all the Baha'is have to be wiped off the face of the
earth for you to be done with this issue?

You are hooked, Larry, I don't know why you go around and around like this.
I don't even answer your questions and you come back at me with the same
thing. I ask you, so what do you want, and you say, but Baha'is are bad,
Kent, don't you see it.

Well I don't Larry, and repeating it over and over won't convince me as it
appears to have convinced you.

Give it a rest Larry. Think about what you hope to accomplish with this,
and try a new tack.

9-30-06 - 95 Theses of the Reform Bahai Faith

95 Theses of the Reform Bahai Faith

Please feel free to share and distribute, in any manner, preferably in full,
these 95 Theses.

To His Great Ends, the Reform Bahai Faith invites all souls to a Convocation
of celebration, brotherhood, and Reform, during Ridvan, 2006.

The Reform Bahai Faith, calling to mind the sufferings and imprisonment of
the Bab, Baha'u'llah, and Abdu'l-Baha, under the brutal oppression of
tyrannical regimes, bent upon silencing and destroying their testimony of
God's New Day, resolves

1. To witness the truth of the deviation of the organized, incorporated
Baha'i Faith from the Path, and its imposition of manifest corruptions and
innovations, over many lamentable decades, that have wrought ever-increasing
alienation, fear, censorship, coercion, misrepresentation, distortion, and
damage, all the stratagems of despots and dictators, political and
religious, upon individual Bahais, their families, and the community of
believers.

2. To seek afresh His Will, as at the dawn of a New Day, whereby the
earth is born anew and man stands transparent before God's manifestation of
His Will.

Dear observer,

I wish to draw your attention to the Foreword to
William Garlington's book, by Professor Jeffrey J. Kirpal
of Rice University, where he states Garlington gently reminds
Baha'is "to recognize that intellectual freedom is not a human
good that can be surrendered to any religious authority,
including Baha'i religious authority" (xiv).

For well over a decade, if not as early as the writings of
Mirza Ahmad Sohrab, numerous Baha'is have labored and
sacrificed attempting to educate their fellow Baha'is
about this most basic of human rights. Doubtlessly, many
of their names will come to mind, along with the ignominious
treatment they've received at the hands of an arrogant and
shameless administration.

CAUTION *** Psychological War Zone *** Newcomers __
http://www.fglaysher.com/bahaicensorship/Caution.htm

Baha'i fundamentalists are highly adept at manipulating
and controlling information / disinformation and public
perception, on and off the Internet.

I caution you that appearances are deceiving on Wikipedia,
talk.religion.bahai and alt.religion.bahai, as elsewhere
in bahai cyberspace, BeliefNet, Talisman9, "unenrolled" Baha'i
Yahoo Group, at times the DMOZ and Google directories, and
so on, all of which have been prime arenas of Baha'i
propaganda and used to identify and manage dissent.

  9-30-06 - Why I Don't Respond to Fundamentalists

Why I Don't Respond to Fundamentalists
http://www.fglaysher.com/bahaicensorship/Why1.htm

Having observed the tactics of fundamentalists among
my fellow bahais for over twenty-seven years, I've learnt
a few things about the way they operate:

1. Ad Hominem, Scapegoat, Libel, Slander, Defame, Demonize,
Cast in a False Light, Ostracize, Shun, Banish, Smear, Discredit,
Suppress, Attack, Bully, Intimidate, Threaten, Malign, Silence,
Harass, Deceive, etc., etc., the individual...all of which has
become known as "The Baha'i Technique":
http://www.fglaysher.com/bahaicensorship/technique.htm

2. Lure into supposed discussion then cut the jugular.

3. Work together to create the perception for uninformed non-bahais
that the individual in question is unbalanced, aberrant, "spamming,"
a liar, a slanderer, crazy, disgruntled, reprobate, paranoid, nasty,
obnoxious, mean, enemy of faith, violator of Covenant, Cyberstalker,
etc.... No explanation, substantiation, justification for any of
these attacks and slanders will EVER be forthcoming no matter how,
or how frequently, one asks.

The Baha'i Technique - Slander & Shunning

"According to the direct and sacred command of God we are forbidden to utter
slander." --Abdu'l-Baha

"Unmeasured vituperation employed on the side of the prevailing opinion
really does deter people from professing contrary opinions and from
listening to those who profess them." --John Stuart Mill, On Liberty
(51-52).

Compare the bahai tactics to the communist cadre or The Modern Inquisition
of Catholicism.

talk.religion.bahai on Usenet
http://www.fglaysher.com/bahaicensorship/Usenet.htm

The only unmoderated, i.e., uncensored forum on the Internet for discussion
of all things Baha'i. Note well that one of the tactics of Baha'i
fundamentalists regarding talk.religion.bahai is, and has been, to pollute
the atmosphere with disinformation and discredit liberals with abuse and
slander, so that they can then point to talk.religion.bahai as what happens
without supposedly superior control and restraint on free speech and
conscience, extolling their tightly controlled mouthpiece,
soc.religion.bahai.

Similarly, most of the Baha'i discussions groups on Yahoo that are
moderated are used, or have been used at times, to identify and control
dissenters, including "unenrolled" Baha'i, Bahai-Apologetics, and talisman9.
A concomitant result on all forums, as on BeliefNet, is preventing the
development of serious critical thought, reflection, and discussion.

Further, the abuse liberals are subjected to convinces independently
minded Baha'is to remain silent and keep a low profile, which is precisely
the aim of fundamentalists.

bahai-apologetics & BCCA (Bahai Computer and Communication Association)
http://www.fglaysher.com/bahaicensorship/BCCA_Ap.htm

The Yahoo Group bahai-apologetics appears to be used by the BCCA and
fundamentalist Baha'is to coordinate, as they have using other mailing
lists, disinformation and marshal surveillance and censorship of Baha'i
related websites, discussion groups, encyclopedias, Usenet, databases,
and so forth, which is very difficult for the infrequent, casual observer
to detect and realize.

The BCCA (Bahai Computer and Communication Association) has a long
history of censoring Baha'is on the Internet. See the BCCA Menu page.
