Valid point. I can find two examples of this.

"At last he could bear the world no longer, and with his own hands stripped
off the garment of life.
Praise be unto him, and salutations, and the mercy of God, and Divine
acceptance. May God pardon him and make him to enter the highest Heaven, the
Paradise that towers above all the rest. His sweet-scented grave is in
Haifa."

"........ although suicide is so strongly condemned in the teachings, ...."

This form of words suggests to me that Shoghi was aware of something from
the Central Figures condemning suicide and I can't find anything clear-cut.
Does anyone know of anything?

The nearest I can find is:

"Had it not been in conflict with that which the Tablets of God have
decreed, I would have gladly kissed the hands of whosoever attempted to shed
my blood in the path of the Well-Beloved. I would, moreover, have bestowed
upon him a share of such worldly goods as God had allowed me to possess,
......"
(Baha'u'llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, p. 102)

which seems to suggest that offering inducements to someone to kill you is
in conflict with the Tablets but that is not quite the same as suicide.

Darricck

Your response was so quick, when I checked if my post is posted or not
immediately after posting, I saw yours. Only 4 minutes.

It seems that you did not bother to read what I wrote since answer to your
question already is there, please read it.

Regards,

Nosrat

I am sure that Joel is sincere, and sincerely believes he is doing
right, and I wish well for him and his followers! However, it seems to
me very clear, that it is beyond dispute that Mason Remey, in writing,
clearing appointed Donald Harvey as his successor. Had Remey wanted
Joel to be considered "Guardian" in 1965, I think he would have said
so...so somebody....somewhere.

Nosrat,

Remey officially dissolved the 2nd IBC, therefore, Joel could NOT be
the President of the IBC after it was dissolved.

Remey said, in GLAD TIDINGS, that the President of hte IBC would be
Guardian "IF" the living Guardian (Remey) were to die "without naming a
successor".

Can't be more clear than that.

Regarding race...everything I have written is 100%% PURE TRUTH...which,
of course, you and many others care nothing about.

Hello Darrick

Actually the second Guardian had chosen and appointed his successor in
December 1961 but it was a secret at that time, even his successor did not
become aware of that till 1964 since on the envelope of the letter of
appointment he had been instructed to save it until such time that he felt
that he must break the seal and read the letter.

Jews hurt Germans? Yeah I read about it in this morning's paper. A Jew
wrapped himself up in a bomb and detonated himself in a cafe killing German
school children.

Oh wait, sorry, that was an Arab.

I get them mixed up. Excuse me, forget I said anything.

Why I believe David Kelly's death may have been murder, by MP
admin

Daily Mail

By DAN NEWLING, Daily Mail 11:17am 24th July 2006

David Kelly did not commit suicide and may have been the victim of a
murder and subsequent coverup, according to a campaigning MP.

Norman Baker has spent six months investigating the death of the
Government weapons expert, found dead in an Oxfordshire wood three
years ago.

MELANIE PHILLIPS: Will we ever be told the truth about Dr Kelly's
death?

Mr Baker - who stepped down from the Liberal Democrat front bench to
carry out his investigation - published his preliminary results and
called for a new public inquiry.

His concerns begin with the method of Dr Kelly's supposed suicide,
cutting a minor artery with a blunt gardening knife.

Concrete documentary evidence of what? That Baha'is are liars and cheats
and are trying to steal my soul? You don't think I am independently
investigating Baha'is and the Baha'i Faith every day of my life? Again,
what are you trying to convince me?

Say it simply so the I can understand. If it is so obvious and evident,
that should be easy.
