Yeah, sure, it's from a Bush-worshipping sucm and hypocrite like Kristol,
but even the Devil can speak the truth at times. Not everything below
lives up the standards of truthfulness but the gist is there.

Will Russia Get Away With It?
By WILLIAM KRISTOL
In August 1924, the small nation of Georgia, occupied by Soviet Russia
since 1921, rose up against Soviet rule. On Sept. 16, 1924, The Times of
London reported on an appeal by the president of the Georgian Republic to
the League of Nations. While "sympathetic reference to his country

Do all you Bush haters want him to start WW3 just because you think he can
do no right? I dislike Bush but he does have some good qualities and he does
have the ability to make some good decisions.
If he did start WW3, you cowards would be the first to complain and the
first to leave the country rather that be inducted into the US Army.

FYI: Bush and I agree that Georgia was wrongly invaded by Russia, but
Bush's action will be to forget about it and go back to his own concerns.

So um, why does taking action in the world mean ww3 and total
destruction with you mindless right-wing fagots?
Do you people have some underlying issues, amybe with your child
killing in Iraq that you should probably deal with? Fucking worthless

False. Exiled Russian Oligarchs living in Israel used Georgia as a proxy
to pursue their oil interests and also get a foothold for Israel and the
US to get closer to Iran. Seems massacring Ossetian Christians is
acceptable to the US Christian Rightwing....

And the Georgian government should be removed for utter incompetence
in starting this war and giving Russia a reason to act. Why the hell
did they think they could attack South Ossetia and get away with it?
Sadly, the US reaction has been pretty hypocritical:

Bush's stirring promise to Georgians in 2005 that "the American people will
stand with you."
Bush pressed the other NATO powers to place Georgia's application for
membership on the fast track. The Europeans rejected the idea, understanding
the geo-strategic implications of pushing NATO's boundaries right up to
Russia's border. If the Europeans had let Bush have his way, we would now be
obligated by treaty to send troops in Georgia's defense. That is to say, we
would now be in a shooting war with the Russians. . .
