  Contract With The Future

Author: Tim Bruening
Date: Feb 18, 2008 21:01

In 1994, the GOP gained control of Congress with their Contract With
America. I urge the Democrats to come up with a Contract With The
Future, which could include such planks as:

I. Balance the budget.

II. End corporate welfare.

III. Build a world in which people don't WANT to commit terrorist acts.
This means building a socially just world, resolving the
Israeli/Palestinian dispute, and INSISTING that Arab nations crack down
on terrorism and stop funding radical Muslim schools. Also insist that
all school kids be taught love, not hate. I also suggest increased
student exchanges between nations.

IV. Set America Free Of Foreign Oil, by promoting alternative energies
and high mileage cars.

V. Protect God's Green Earth: Reduce pollution and global warming.
Protect endangered species.

VI. Restore America's Human Rights Values: Stop torture, stop indefinite
detention of suspects without charges, end the sale of weapons to
dictatorships.

VII. Defend civil rights. Stop warrentless eavesdropping.

If you beliee that, then there is no hope for you to have a rational
discussion.

Clue: News reports can and should be double-checked for accuracy. This
is not possible with ancient books of fairy tales.

Bullshit.

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so
certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.

Al Gore's son gets busted for:
1.) Driving over 100mph to attempt to get away from the cops
2.) Cops find numerous types of drugs including Al Gore III high on pot

3.) Where oh where is the HYSTERICAL COVERAGE of this event?
4.) What do you think the coverage of a similar event involving the child of
a oh lets say Mit Rommey or Mike Huckabee would be? Can we say 24 hr
hysterical coverage (like Mark Foley) ???? Can we say additional support for
liberal left wing bias of the media is showing....yet again?
