Well done!

Depending on how the road is laid out, you will have to call in the
heavy equipment people a bunch more times to move the plowed snow
somewhere else so that you can have room to plow more. Here the city has
a snow-disposal zone down by the interstate (downstream of the last
local ice-jam location so it doesn't contribute to spring flooding).

Excellent!

Nothing beter than a good adverture from time to time. Excites the blood
it do.

Some weeks ago I spent five days camping/boating out on a large lake
here in aridzona. It was a quiet time with driftwood fires by the
shoreline and a bottle of single malt toasts raised to my fallen comrads
in arms who died in a far away land many years ago..... I think they
would have done the same for me. I tend to wax nostalgic on veterans day
,,,,,,,, Any way..... on the way home threading my way down a twisty
turny skinny mountain road my truck desided to jink my ass across the
center line and into the path of oncoming traffic. Imagine my surprize.
At a closing speed of somewhere arouund 120 MPH..... well you do the
math... it was be quick or die.

Long story short.... a peice of the backing plate on the drivers side
front brake assembly had broken loose from it's proper place and wedged
itself between the shoe and the drum. Some fun.

"Errand of Mercy".

Well, after a somewhat rainy drive, I arrived home safely.
Actually, I arrived at the scheduled concert only to find that
the advertised band had canceled, only to be replaced by another
band. Other that the mosquito population being much more numerous
than in VT, it was a pleasant evening. I have now unpacked and
had dinner and am almost ready for bed.

So...good food, good people, (mostly) good weather...a very good
time. I'm sorry more of you couldn't make it, but..it left more
chocolate for us.

The highlight of the weekend was the chicken-herding
competition, where a rooster named
Pillowpants...um...Fuzzypants.. was unleashed upon a crowd of
unsuspecting snigglers. A fowl of (what else) foul...

For real, folks.

This weekend.

Let me know if you're coming, and haven't told me, yet.

We might be making chocolates.

If you use one of these, please let me know how you like/dislike it.
Bonus for free sites, but I will consider a paid service if it is
substantially better.

(So far I've found del.icio.us, linkaGoGo.com, MyBookmarks.com and
myvmarks.com)

thx!

the bridge was out for about the past year, due to
defects and needing updating. today they took the
signs down. the traffic is already returning to what
it used to be like. and now we get back to what we
call the "screetch kerplunk" because we are on the
first intersection this direction from the bar.

i'm ready, but definitely spoilt...

the gardens have been doing good and many more
projects are in the works, but i was telling Ma that
before i do any more big projects i'm going to have
to finish ones that are already started. so now she's
telling me new projects just to get me to roll my eyes
at her. haha,
