There was one dog food company whose employees did do taste tests. I
can't remember which one it was, though. Alpo, maybe?

I like sausage if it's cooked until it's more like cremated.
I love bacon, and bacon fat is good in pinto beans.
I like liverwurst occasionally, but I try not think about what it's
made of. I can't bear the smell of liver cooking. Yuck!
I like hot dogs, but I hate the ones with tough casings.

I'm not really very adventurous when it comes to food. My husband
thinks I'm insane because I eat Taco Bell tacos, but I love the damned
things. This is the same man who will eat calamari and just about
anything bizarre on a menu. But other than the aforementioned, I
really don't eat anything disgusting.

Don't know what that is.

I like tuna casserole, but I agree with you on the other stuff.

When I was in college, the dining hall was a family style affair with
long tables and the food came in bowls and platters. When the doors
to the kitchen opened and the waiters poured out with this one
particular lunchtime entree, people would start barking as soon as
they saw what we were having. I never knew what it was, but suspect
it may have been scrapple. I confess I ate it and rather enjoyed it.
I really don't want to find out at this late date that it was
scrapple.
