In the 1400's a law was set forth in England that a man was allowed to beat
his wife with a stick no thicker than his thumb. Hence we have 'the rule of
thumb'
-------------------------------------------
Many years ago in Scotland , a new game was invented. It was ruled
'Gentlemen Only...Ladies Forbidden'...and thus the word GOLF entered into
the English language.
-------------------------------------------
The first couple to be shown in bed together on prime time TV
were Fred and Wilma Flintstone.
-------------------------------------------
Every day more money is printed for Monopoly than the U.S . Treasury.
-------------------------------------------
Men can read smaller print than women can; women can hear better.

Coca-Cola was originally green.

It is impossible to lick your elbow.

Obama is generally correct, but a more accurate answer would include
the fact that this poverty and despair and fear for the destruction of
their religion derives from the policies of their tyranical leaders
who are supported by the U.S.

Election 2008. Prediction; Daddy Dave;July 2008
---------------------------------------------------
The Presidential Candidate that grabs onto T. Boone Picken's coat tail (and
energy plan) WILL WIN this upcoming presidential election. Let us pray that
it is McCain and not Obamo. It is strange indeed that the wisdom of an
"OKIE-trained", 80 year old, geologist, and "OilMan", is needed to save us
from ourselves from the plague of Oil.
The American People are not as stupid as our current choices for DEM & REP
Candidates would indicate. We as legal voters are smart enough to realize
that unless we stop the flow of our resources, currency, efforts, into
foreign coffers, and do it soon, we are doomed as a leading nation. We know
it will demand sacrifice, but we will vote for the person/policy/philosophy
that we believe can be successful in achieving energy independence if it can
be done WITH AMERICAN RESOURCES, MUSCLES, and INGENUITY !
The foreign powers that are in the process of "owning" us are literally
amazed (and delighted) that we have not seriously addressed this problem for
the past 35 years even though it was right before our eyes and bleeding us
economically while we bled ourselves by creating unlimited amounts of fiat
currency and devaluating our $Dollars.

Reading about the tribulations of the Detroit mayor, the St. Louis police
chief, various politicians, brings to mind what I was told many years ago.
Don’t ever lie. If you do, your credibility can be challenged on nearly any
statement or testimony. I have testified as an expert many times over the
years and have never been challenged as to veracity because of my reputation
for never lying about any subject for any reason.
Politicians are adept at lying and then lying again when they deny and cover
up the fact that they lied. Hillary, and George, are masters at the art.

INTERESTING DATA JUST RECEIVED ON TAXES
Spread the word.....
This is something you should be
aware of so you don't get blind-sided.
This is really going to catch a lot
of families off guard. It should
make you worry.
Proposed changes in taxes after 2008 General election:
CAPITAL GAINS TAX
MCCAIN
0%% on home sales up to $500,000
per home (couples) McCain does not
propose any change in existing
home sales income tax.
OBAMA
28%% on profit from ALL home sales
How does this affect you?
If you sell your home and make a profit, you
will pay 28%% of your gain on taxes.

Laura Schlessinger: "Mother Laura's Words Of Wisdom Saved My Marriage"
The perfect form letter. [it could have been written by Kim Jung Il's
crew]:
Mother Laura's Words Of Wisdom Saved My Marriage
http://www.drlaura.com/letters/index.html?mode=view&tile=1&id=16273
2008-07-22
"...proud of the fact he got clean on his own, and to forgive him
since he was trying so hard to make things right."
" The point of this letter is to tell you how well your words worked."
" Your words worked so well in fact that a few months ago when my
husband came home..."
"...and you can bet that with some occasional mother Laura nagging..."
signed only G.
... and you know how disgusting and cowardly anonymous is
... Mother Laura loves self-promotion first. Second, she has her own
view of alcohol/drug addiction. Does she have any legit back up?
Her compassion for those with chemical dependency is growing? What's
up with Derky?
