Communists for Obama
May 23, 2008 - by Oleg Atbashian
It appears that many of the 75,000 “Obama worshipers” in Portland last
weekend really turned up to see a free concert by an uber-hip Portland
band, the [1] Decemberists (see photo below). Of course, the MSM
didn’t report this fact because it might dampen the story of the new
and wonderful miracle of the Obamessiah.

Most media reports were reminiscent of the style the Soviet poets used
to glorify public appearances of the great Stalin. For example,
Obama’s home paper, the Chicago Tribune, reported it [3] this way:

They also forgot to mention that after Obama left the majority of the crowd
left leaving a few hundred youngsters to listen to the music. Funny how the
right implies that the media is doing something wrong by not mentioning, as
happens at most political rallies from all parties, that part of the
afternoon included some forms of entertainment. I am shocked, do you hear
me shocked, to find out that something that might be termed entertainment
(or free food as the republicans of yesteryear used to prefer) was going on
at this political rally.

Is it true that one of John McCain's favorite songs is The Beatles "Back in
the USSR?" How can he deny it when it was played on the radio during one of
his campaign stops?
Let us try to not get too silly.
