Well, you've claimed expertise in determining the meaning and origins
of words ... such as "aladdin lamp" ... and claim that I have been
questioning your authority or the authority of those as qualified as
you in that area to make such claims ... and I've called you on it.
We're waiting for your proof.
Not holding our breath, mind.
That would be as foolish as ... well, *you*

Nope.
Unless you count putting the term into Google and coming up with 8 out
of 10 hits on the front page to be about the lamp referred to by
Skelton and Black to be "expertise." I know *I* don't. It's simply
GoogleFu.

Others have responded and pointed out the problems. Please feel free
to read their response(s). And my comment on their response.
We're still waiting for proof of your expertise in etymology.
