Dear Friend

There are some people out there who want to declare this race over
now, before all the ballots have been counted or even cast. There are
some who say they don't know why I'm in this race. So let me tell you
why I'm still running.

I'm in this race for everyone who needs a champion. For the
hardworking families who are losing sleep over gas prices and grocery
costs and mortgage payments and medical bills -- but who never lose
that American can-do spirit and optimism.

I'm in this race for the more than 16 million people like you who have
supported me -- for the people who have put their hearts into winning
this race. You never gave up on me, and I'll never give up on you.

We are in the homestretch. After sixteen months, there are only three
weeks left to compete in the final contests. With your help I'm going
to keep fighting until every last American has a chance to be heard,
and as we learned last night in West Virginia, I know we can win.

Contribute now to keep our campaign going strong.

I'm also in this race because I have the best chance of beating John
McCain in November and putting America on the right track.

Major victory for Iraqi government over illegal militias

Author: Jedi
Date: May 14, 2008 23:13

When Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki ordered a military offensive
against rogue Shiite militias in March, it was widely panned as a
failure that was one more reason the U.S. needed to abandon Iraqis to
their own "civil war." Well, several weeks later the battle for Basra
and Baghdad against Moqtada al-Sadr's Mahdi Army looks to be both a
military and political success.

Law tracks crimes of foster parents

http://www.middletownjournal.com/hp/content/oh/story/news/local/2008/05/14/hjn051508FosterBill...

By Josh Sweigart

Staff Writer

HAMILTON — Liz Carroll's murder conviction will stand, and state
lawmakers hope new legislation prevents other foster parents from taking
the lives of those they're meant to protect.

Gov. Ted Strickland signed a bill into law Wednesday, May 14, aimed at
protecting foster children by tracking the crimes of foster parents.

This came a week after the Ohio Supreme Court refused to hear Carroll's
appeal on charges of killing 3-year-old Middletown foster child Marcus
Fiesel by leaving the toddler bound in a closet while taking a weekend trip.

The bill, sponsored by Ohio Sen. Tim Niehaus, R-New Richmond,
establishes a database to notify state and county agencies immediately
if a foster parent is arrested for a crime that would preclude him or
her from being a foster parent.

DCF employee facing New Hampshire sex charge

http://www.boston.com/news/local/vermont/articles/2008/05/14/dcf_employee_facing.../

May 14, 2008

WATERBURY, Vt.—A state Department of Children and Family Services worker
has been charged with exposing himself in a New Hampshire park,
officials said.

Duane Fortier, 55, of West Hartford, was among five men arrested May 7
and May 8 by plainclothes officers after the men allegedly approached
them near the Boston Lot hiking trails and made suggestive remarks and
obscene gestures, according to police in Lebanon, N.H.

He was charged with indecent exposure and lewdness.

Fortier works in the Department of Children and Family Services' office
in Hartford, where he reviews files to ensure people receive the
appropriate benefits. He does not have contact with the public,
according to Stephen Dale, commissioner for the department.

Dale said Wednesday officials were waiting to learn the details of the
allegations against Fortier.

"There's a whole protocol that we follow whenever there are allegations
against" an employee, Dale said.

PUTIN OPPOSES THE ZIONIST AGENDA

In Time Magazine's Person Of The Year 2007 Interview With Putin the War In
Iraq
& the threatened US War Against Iran were discussed:

Time: What do you think should be done in Iraq?

Putin: I said it was a mistake from the very beginning. Developments have
proved that we were right. The US now believes it is impossible to impose
time frames for a withdrawal. In my view if the Iraqis know that a deadline
is there they would be more proactive. But this is a decision that we must
make together at the level of the United Nations."

Time: What about a possible war against Iran by the US with regard to their
alleged nuclear program?

Putin: Any military action against Iran would be a mistake. Russia's
foreign-policy stance is guided by objective and verified data and
intelligence."

THESE ARE ANSWERS that the Jews fear. Is it any wonder then that the Jewish
controlled Media paints Vladimir Putin as "Ivan The Terrible?"

war between Israel and the Palestinians

Those who want the war between Israel and the Palestinians to continue
have flooded the US with propagandists who try to deceive people about
the war by talking about the emotions of the war and by offering
emotional solutions. It’s a shame so many people are fooled into
thinking that wars are the result of boys acting badly and if people
just shook hands and sang together the war would go away.

War causes emotions but that does not mean that emotions cause wars.
On the surface wars are caused by ideological and geographical
differences but underneath economics drive all wars. Arab
dictatorships...

Extremely Disappointed in President Bush.

I just finished watching President Bush on Arutz Sheva
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/TV/ . Bush was asked the following
questions by Jewish Israeli interviewers while Bush was on Israeli TV
channel 10:

Interviewer to Bush: “Mr. President did you get any official request
to pardon Jonathon Pollard and if yes would you consider it and do you
know many people in Israel think that the arrest of Ben Ami Kadish and
other spy cases were intended to influence you?â€

Bushes response: “You know we are constantly analyzing cases there has
been no changes in the government’s attitude at this point.â€

Interviewer to Bush: “So?â€

Bushes response: “No change.â€

Interviewer to Bush: “Did you get such a request from Israel?â€

Bushes response: “Oh yea constantly.â€

Interviewer to Bush: “Constantly?â€

Bushes response: “Sure.â€

Interviewer to Bush: “For our sixtieth birthday any new positions?â€

A bad trip in India

By Aryeh Dayan

Here is a popular joke among Israeli backpackers in India: An Indian asks an
Israeli backpacker, "So how many Israelis are there?" The backpacker answers
"Five million" and the Indian then asks "and how many in Israel?" Daria
Maoz, who is writing her doctorate on Israeli backpackers in India, believes
the joke increasingly reflects the feelings of Indians in light of the
Israeli "invasion" of their country. Some 15 years after Israelis first
began traveling en mass to the subcontinent, where they initially received a
warm welcome, Maoz's research points to a growing discomfort with the
Israeli presence in India. The problem is not the large number of Israelis
who travel to India, but their behavior, which the Indians are finding
increasingly difficult to bear.

  Hezbollah wins, again! Allahu Akbar!

Author: ElParedon

BEIRUT (Reuters) - Lebanon's government cancelled measures on Wednesday that
angered the Iranian-backed Hezbollah movement and triggered the worst
internal conflict since the country's 1975-90 civil war.

The U.S.-backed government of Prime Minister Fouad Siniora said in a
statement after a meeting that it was taking the step in line with a request
by the Lebanese army to preserve civil peace and promote an Arab League
mediation effort to end Lebanon's 18-month-old political crisis.

"The cabinet decided to agree on the suggestion of the army commander ...
which includes the cancellation of the two decisions," the statement, read
by Information Minister Ghazi al-Aridi, said.

A senior opposition source welcomed the move. "We welcome the government's
step and we see that it forms the prelude to end our disobedience campaign,"
he told Reuters.

The source said the opposition would end the disobedience campaign once the
ruling coalition agrees to talks. He said such an announcement was expected
on Thursday.

Shortly after Aridi read the statement, Hezbollah supporters fired into the
air in Beirut to celebrate what the group sees as a major blow to the
government and its allies.
