Why the Kennedy clan is backing Obama

"A President like my father" said Carolyn Kennedy of Barak Obama, which is
reason for her to through her support in Mr. Obama's favor.

The problem is that President John Kennedy, putting aside for a moment the
nostalgic tragedy of his death, was, in the short time he spent at the White
House, and incredibly mediocre President, whose learning on the job almost
caused World War III.

It was JFK who entangled the USA in Vietnam, who had the Diem Brothers
assassinated, who first approved then withdrew his support for the Bay of
Pigs invasion, allowing Fidel Castro to survive another 47 years.

The USA cannot afford to have another President like JFK. The first one
almost destroyed the world. Heaven only knows what the second one might do.

Now Ted Kennedy is, on the other hand, a sanctimonious and bloated Senator
from Mass who wants us to forget the MANY mistakes his brother John made,
the many scandals they shared, including one where Mary Jo Kopechne drowned
in his car, after driving drunk off a bridge.

Personally, I think the Kennedys are a little indignant that the first
family in Democratic circles today is called Clinton, NOT Kennedy.
