Famine or near famine conditions in Afro-Asian Economies

The West is talking about End of time, armaggedon and day of
resurrection. But the Muslims are mostly unaware of the fact that the
last age has started and end of time is just round the corner. This is
exactly in accordance with the Quranic prophecy contained in the first
Ayat of Surah "The prophets":

" Their reckoning draweth nigh for mankind and they turn away
in heedlessness".

Holy Quran displays graphically the scene of the present day. I do not
know about Bangla Desh, but here in Pakistan, the ulema generally are
focussed on worldy affairs and have completely forgotten about the day
of Judgement.Hardly anyone talks about the day of reckoning although
the Signs are many and widespread.
