The war against Indian occupation forces is heating up in Indian
held Kashmir:
SRINAGAR, July 18: Thirty-two people, including children and police
officers, were wounded on Friday in an explosion at a busy bus station
in occupied Kashmir, police said.
The incident took place in Banihal town, about 120km south of occupied
Srinagar, a police spokesman said. āFive of the injured ā including
two police officers ā are in critical condition,ā he said, adding the
area was immediately sealed off and searches launched to find those
responsible for the attack.
Police said suspected militants hurled a hand grenade at a group of
police officers gathered at the bus station.
Civilian bystanders, including children, were also injured in the
attack, a local reporter said. Abdul Rashid told AFP from Banihal that
residents fled in panic following the explosion, with many people
taking shelter on buses and inside nearby shops.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Bangladesh's unwanted people
By Mark Dummett
At first glance, Geneva Camp could be any of Dhaka's overcrowded and
filthy slums.
But above it flies Pakistan's green flag, with a red strip sewn on the
side to represent, I was told, the suffering of the people there.
In the camp's school, the children first sing the Bangladesh national
anthem at assembly, and then, after prayers, they belt out Pakistan's.
Loyalties are divided.
"When I grow up I want to stay in this country and become a teacher,"
one girl tells me. But her classmate wants to go to Pakistan. " My
grandmother lives in Karachi so I really want to go there," she says.
When I ask a group of youths which cricket team they supported when
Pakistan recently played Bangladesh they all replied, "Pakistan".

Many wonder why Buddhism disappeared from the Subcontinent but thrives
in China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and in Sri Lanka.
Many Hindus claim that Buddha was a Hindu God. Of course Buddhists in
China, Thaliand and other countires and in India do not accpet that
doctrine. In fact Buddhism was hounded out of its birthplace.
