Israeli Housing in Occupied East Jerusalem
By Griff Witte
Washington Post Foreign Service
JERUSALEM, March 31 -- Israel said Monday that it would build hundreds
of new homes on occupied land it considers part of Jerusalem, just
hours after U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice wrapped up a
three-day visit to the region by saying the peace process is "moving
in the right direction."
The announcement of the new construction, the latest in a series of
similar projects advanced by Israel in recent months, was likely to
anger Palestinians. The issue also elicited criticism from Rice, who
called on Israel to stop building in contested territory even before
Monday's announcement.
"Settlement activity should stop
-- expansion should stop," Rice said
at a news conference.

First Class flights around the world, accommodation at deluxe hotels, dining
at fancy restaurants and a series of credit cards, this is how the Claims
Conference, which deals with restitution of stolen Jewish property from the
Holocaust, operates.
IRS reports show that there are 100 employees of the Claims Conference who
enjoy salaries of close to 6.9 million dollars. Add to this the lavish
spending of money which could otherwise be used to save Holocaust survivors
from becoming destitute:

3 March 2008: Contrary to Israel's Chief of Staff, at least half of
those killed in Gaza did not take part in the fighting.
B'Tselem expresses grave concern at the large number of children and
other uninvolved civilians among those killed and wounded in the Gaza
Strip in recent days.
According to B'Tselem figures, from 27 February to the afternoon of 3
March, 106 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip. Contrary to the
Chief of Staff's contention that ninety percent were armed, at least
fifty-four of the dead (twenty-five of them minors) did not take part
in the hostilities. In addition, at least forty-six minors were
wounded.

In Israel for a three-day visit to include talks with Defense Minister
Ehud Barak, Parkanová said in an exclusive interview that Iran was a
"rogue state" whose nuclear program was taken "very seriously" by the
government in Prague, which would be willing to support Israel, if
necessary, with all its available "forces and capabilities."

The fact remains that there were less than 3 million Jews in Europe occupied
by Hitler, and in 1946 3.25 millin Jews lodged the rearations claims through

Only 11%% of the Ukraine population support NATzO. The orange stinkards
are DOOMED in their drive to smooch NATzO ass.
KIEV, March 31 (RIA Novosti) - Thousands of people gathered on Kiev's main
square on Monday to protest against the U.S. president's visit, and the
Ukrainian leadership's drive for NATO membership.
George W. Bush will arrive in the city on Monday evening for talks with
President Viktor Yushchenko expected to focus on Ukraine's plans to join the
Western military alliance, before leaving for Bucharest on Tuesday afternoon
for a NATO summit.
"We are now on our way to the United States Embassy with a resolution and
message for the American people, asking them to pacify their hawks - Bush
and State Secretary Condoleezza Rice," a protest organizer who asked to
remain anonymous told RIA Novosti.
Activists on Independence Square (Maidan Nezalezhnosti) are displaying
banners with the slogans "NATO is worse than the Gestapo" and "Put Bush's
