Pamela Lagan spent years living with the Tibetans
Here is what she thinks of the western media reporting on Tibet (1999)
It has not chaged since then. She criticised the "uncritical
acceptance of flawed and biased information" as poor journalism but I
think western media are doing it deliberately.
========================
.......foreign press has tended to act like a mouthpiece of the
Tibetan government-in-exile, an organization whose overriding concern
is, understandably, regain of their lost nation. As recently as March
10, the Times told us "The Chinese are trying to annihilate the
Tibetan people as a race. Under the Chinese, there are starvation,
torture, forced labor and mass murder." The source for this
information was a woman who left Tibet four decades ago as a nine-year-
old girl.

"Yu" are either a Chinese disinformation officer or a liar. I googled
"Pamela Lagan" and the only hits were posted hours ago on the newsgroups
listed in the header above.
So Mr. Yugaung, we know exactly everything about the quality and agenda of
your posts.
