Apparently you don't read all my replies but just whining there.
Here's what I wrote:
"Now, just like you, Zhang Yimou has behaved like a puppy to CCP.
That's what your CCP wants you to be, a little puppy can say "Yes sir,
my beloved CCP".
“That's why Zhang has been making some silly movies like "Hero"...
What a waste! “
Don't you see "Now" in the above sentence, I provided you CURRENT
status of Zhang Yimou, a puppy to CCP, making silly movies like "Hero"
etc so he will not offend CCP. But you simply do not read.
As for Taiwanese vs Chinese. I'm Chinese and also Taiwanese. Just like
HK people would say they are HKer and also Chinese. Or Shanghai people
would say they are Shanghainese and also Chinese. The reason I said
I'm Taiwanese is to distinguish from mainland Chinese like you. But
you are just paranoid to think that has something to do with Taiwan
Independence. And everyone here except you knows I oppose TI also
oppose Unification. The reason I oppose TI is because those TIers deny
they are Chinese, deny Chinese culture...The reason I oppose
unification because I really don't want to have anything to do with
people like you, J. Venning, baldeagle... to force Taiwan under
authoritarian CCP rule but you guys enjoy all the freedom and
democracy your resident country has provided to you just because
unification can satisfy your dream of "Great China".
I don't rule out ultimate unification if conditions are met but I am
not blind for unification at any cost. Why should I? We Chinese (see,
keep you happy!) in Taiwan enjoy all the freedom and democracy and
also we are much more wealthy and civilized. See, we don't spit,
people in Taiwan are much more polite, the society is more traditional
Chinese, ie, Confucian society because we did not have Mao's Cultural
Revolution. So why bother to unite with less civilized people and
ruled by authoritarian and also corrupt government? What will we gain?
Nothing but the worse, we will lose something we have now. If
unification is a must, I would rather unite with HK or Singapore.
So if you guys want Taiwan, stop Red Guard behavior, stop *false*
accusations against people like Jim Walsh. Show people in Taiwan,
Mao’s Cultural Revolution is over, you mainland Chinese can be
civilized after Olympic Games.
