Perhaps the citizens of Hawaii should take the opportunity of rising gas prices to seriously re-evaluate their choice of vehicles. Living on an island with a mild and moderate climate, do that many people need SUV's or 300+ horsepower powered cars? Do high school students require having "their own" car?
