Beijing announces traffic plan for Olympics

BEIJING: With 49 days remaining before the opening ceremonies of the
Olympic Games, and the air soupy with smog, Beijing officials on Friday
announced temporary measures to unsnarl the city's traffic and reduce
its chronic and sometimes choking air pollution.
One measure to take more than a million cars off the road will be
enforced from July 20 to Sept. 20, a period that includes the Olympic
and Paralympic Games. The Chinese news media outlined the plan months
ago, but the government waited until Friday to announce it. It will
restrict owners of private cars to driving on alternate days, depending
on whether the last number of their license plate is even or odd,
officials said at a news conference. Operating hours for public
transportation will be extended during the two-month period, the
officials said.

Where have you been Mr. Poon?
Judging from all this guy's posts (paste, actually) that are from da
ji yuan, this guy is clearly a Fck Lun Goon operative. Judging from
how hard this guy works, it is probably not just minimum wage (just
like how hard Ms. Sharon Stone works for face cream).

What's shameful is the temporary traffic plan for the Olympics. It will
inconvenience people such as Jim Walsh. Shame, shame!
BTW, minimum wage for CIA operatives (and all other U.S. Federal agents
just starting out on their jobs) is GS-9, Step 5. Find out how much
that is and you will be tempted to become an operative yourself. That
is, of course, subject to meeting physical, mental and educational
qualifications as well as favorable results of a deep background
investigation.
