As usual, the government is only paying lip service of encouraging companies
to employ older workers or are skillful and jobless. Even the People's
Association and the Workforce Development Agency rejected older applicants.
But when the government comes to implement the ERP and GST increases, they
are pretty quick. Why should a money-face government care about its
citizens?

IF Mdm Eldin Tan want to get a job......she should wait until
'erection' time then probably those stat board will look into her
application........Meantime, ask her to tighten her stomach and
swallow her saliver.

Oops, the government meant only for people like LKY is encourage to work
longer, either you people didn't read the small print portion or you totally

Why not hire Ah pek and Ah soh as stewards and stewardess
in SIA !
SIA employ thousand of Malaysians and foreigners as cabin
crew....They should be retrenched and their jobs given to Ah
pek and Ah soh...including Mdm Tan.
As a passenger, I care only for the service... My maid takes
care of me at home as good as the SIA stewardesses in the
air.

You mean those Ah pek and Ah soh at the hawker centre that clears your table
after you finished your food? Those services very bad are you sure they can
also be re-trained to become stewards and stewardess.

Not all young girls in Singapore are suitable to
serve as SIA girl...many are not suitable to clean
table at coffee shops
So also, not all Ah pek and Ah soh can be SIA stewards
and stewardess.
Only those with the right working attitude, like my maid,
can make it....and those pretty lady (Singaporean) who serve
beer in coffee shops can make it.
