Of course! As a Taiwanese! Do you really think that RAK really really
goes about in real life saying "oh no, don't ever dare to go to
mainland China, it's sucks real time". No, China is great precisely
**precisely** because it's backward and goddamn poor! When you travel
to China you feel so much better about yourself precisely because
there is human buffer. And it's another footnote on your travelling
resume, haha! Translation: relative rank matters, haha! It's
precisely because the average Chinese is very very low that we love
them. It's the padding that counts because it boosts your
percentile.
