Hello to all,
Rouster configuration is to make sure that each router configured so
that the computers could talk to each other by uaing a command program
to control the router to do so and then connect up the whole network
in this way as the internt output from the socket goes to fast line
modem, then connect to router and then to NT based server installed
with firewall and then follow by DHCP server (if required, auto IP
assination system) and then to lan network which are switches which
one of the connection from the RJ45 goes to the hub which has the NT
server, sun server etc connected to the hub and the output of the lan
or other port goes to different computers in a work placeand then from
the server goes to adminstration tool from control panel and then go
to computer management and then click on adminsration where to add in
user accesss and password and then for workplace purchased software,,
use Paul Crowley's or infinadyne software called CDR diagnostic or
called CDR/DVD diagnostic to copy the original software into the
server so that the company employee could use the software after
install the software on their workplace computer from the server by
tech support people. Right click on the copied software (file
directory) on the harddisk of the server and click on properties and
then select the option to restrict whom to access these file services
or software by clicking on the above at the bottom like administrator,
computer 1 etc etc and then you could choose to protect a little
batter by clicking on read only from the right click of the mouse on
the file folder on the server. Configure the rest of the computer and
that should make the whole networking environment works which includes
of netowrk printers etc. That is how a networking environment looks
like afterall........
