Free countries must defy Chinese blackmail and greet the Dalai Lama
There is not much that we can do for suffering Tibet, but this we can
and must. It's far more than mere tokenism
Timothy Garton Ash
The Guardian, Thursday March 20 2008 Article history
Gordon Brown yesterday promised to meet the Dalai Lama when he comes
to Britain in May. So should all other leaders of free countries,
whenever the opportunity arises. Anything less would shame us all. And
it wouldn't help China either.

As usual, when the "free countries" detect any fart coming out of
China (even if it's partly CIA poison gas), they'd gang up and start
giving imperial orders to China. They'd even drag in a prince to make
it look imperial.

Donnot be childish. Papers never tell truth, neither in China nor
America.
There is a riot in Tibet, not a bedin, as one of my classmates is
hurted by the Tibetan Buddhists. And the police and armies took no
actions to beat back.
After all, I don't like the communism , while I don't like the self-
righteous Aemricans either.
I shall never belive that the US government will really pay any
sympathy on the Tibetan, nothing but to suppress China.
