"The Tang capital at Chang'an (now Xi'an) is the world's largest and
richest city. Nearly thirty miles square, it is divided by fourteen
main streets and surrounded by a wall with twelve gateways. An
additional palace and a gigantic preserve are located at the back of
the city. Merchants and visitors from West, South, Southeast, and East
Asia arrive frequently, and Tang China functions as the epicenter of
an international culture that is also reflected in the visual arts of
Korea and Japan."

"The Tang period is often referred to as a golden age in Chinese
culture, and the reign of Xuanzong is accounted its high point. The
poetry written during that reign was later regarded as a model which
all Chinese poets might try to emulate. But could never hope to
surpass. (followed by several pages of writers names and their
poetries. Then followed by several pages of China's relationship
with its neighbors.)..."[1]

Poetry in China made China "riches nation in the world"? That is news
to me.

Stupid old fool RST, since you said you dont trust Chinese books on
Chinese history or Chinese historians and only believe white folks
said about Chinese history. Therefore, I posted Tang Dynasty from
websites of two world famous museums: The British Museum and The
Metropolitan Museum of Art. If you still have questions, then write
to them with your questions:
