Thanks but I have no idea. You can't blame culture as Asians are the ones
who precisely take pics everywhere they go. Maybe there really is something
to hide in that supermarket. Maybe they're afraid that I'll submit my pics
to the local public health dept or compare pics with their local competitor.
Many Asian immigrants in North America live in the past - their mental image
of what should be frozen in time - it's what you may call 'temporal
ossification'. So the preserve of East Asian traditional culture if you're
interested may ironically be in the forgotten catacombs of the West- while
people in the East have already moved forward and embraced....humanity. ;)
