The End is Near for the Evil CCP - - Following Mass Protests in Weng'an, Many Chinese Renounce the CCP
Following Mass Protests in Weng'an, Many Chinese Renounce the CCP
By Li Xin, Li Sisi and Xiong Bin

In the wake of bitter unrest in Weng'an County, Guizhou Province, a large number of people in
mainland China quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on July 1―the CCP's birthday. The Weng'an
protest on June 28 had over 10,000 people―furious over an apparent cover up of a 15-year old girl's
death by local authorities―surround local government buildings. The protest was violently put down
by armed police.
In response to these events "A special day to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party" was
initiated by the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP. Many people said that they could not
bear to CCP's violent suppression of the Weng'an people and thus wanted to withdraw from the evil party.
One Weng'an resident, knowing of the special call by the service center and of the almost 40 million
people who have already withdrawn from the CCP, stated on July 1 that he would quit the CCP's Young
Pioneers. He said that what happened in Weng'an was unbearable and people are rising one after
another against the CCP's tyranny.

The Anxiety of a Fearful "Olympic Host" -- ‘Anti-China’ groups threaten Olympics
‘Anti-China’ groups threaten Olympics
By Mure Dickie in Beijing
Published: July 4 2008 22:13 | Last updated: July 4 2008 22:13
A top Chinese security official has warned that “anti-China” forces and other hostile groups are
intensifying efforts to sabotage next month’s Beijing Olympics.
The warning from Yang Huanning, executive vice-minister for public security, reflects concern among
Chinese leaders about the possible disruption of an event in which they have invested enormous
political capital.
It is also likely to further spur sweeping security measures in Beijing and other Olympic cities
that some observers say could cast a chill over Games events.
Tougher implementation of visa rules in recent months has already sent the number of tourists
arriving in the Chinese capital plummeting.
Some western critics have already dubbed the Olympics the “no-fun” Games, although local public
enthusiasm for the event still appears to be strong.
In comments posted on the public security ministry’s website on Friday, Mr Yang said: “As the
Beijing Olympics draw daily closer, all kinds of anti-China and hostile forces are further
intensifying their activities to create disturbances and carry out sabotage by any means.”
