Both DYD (the Intellectual) and VP (the general), attended, separated
only by two tables away in the same front row, the Hmong new year in
St. Paul, MN. VP gave a speech asking all Hmong to help one another.
The Hmong who are fortune in the US must help their poor relatives
back in Southeast Asia and guide the millions of Hmong worldwide.
For many Hmong, VP is still considered the Hmong king, and DYD the
Hmong chief diplomat. Can they work together for the Hmong people?
I am looking forward to seeing a new generation of Hmong leaders.

Indicted General's return creates buzz at Hmong New Year
Hmong New Year's celebrations are always colorful, drawing huge crowds
to Saint Paul's River Centre. This year's festival came with added
drama.
General Vang Pao, the legendary Hmong military leader, appeared for
the first time since he was indicted on federal charges of plotting to
overthrow the Laotian government.
"Just the fact he was given permission to come celebrate the New Year
with the Hmong community that was a very big deal to a lot of people,"
Representative Cy Thao told KARE 11 News.
Vang had to get clearance from a judge to travel from his home near
Los Angeles to St Paul. He'll get another pass a month from now to
attend a Hmong New Year's event in Fresno, but most of the time is
expected to remain home pending trial.
"It's very clear that General Vang Pao since he was a very young man
has been committed to the United States," former United States
attorney Thomas Heffelfinger told KARE 11.

these two guys are like you and me. you have a front row to my ntshav
paum but yet sometimes we must disagree on your separtists and hateful
AGENDAS.

please, only an idiot like you consider VP as the Hmong king, and DYD
as the Hmong chief diplomat. where's the kingdom and where's the
diplomacy?
> I am looking forward to seeing a new generation of Hmong leaders.
and a new generation of Hmong leaders look forward to seeing
separatists and racist agenda die with the old like you.
