don't worry, the term "chinese" needs a new definition. maybe it's a
super-nationality. used to refer blindly by westerners and "chinese"
alike to refer exclusively to ethnic han. but now, anyone in china,
including the 55+ national minorities, may say they are "chinese".
that don't mean they are ethnic han. see the videos that ethnic han
also claim lineage from chi.you? some say yan.di and chi.you were both
miao ancestors, and only huang.di was han ancestor. no one knows for
sure, but for sure, these are the forefathers of today's middle
kingdom. in laos, no more lao, hmong, khmu, etc.. right? just high,
middle, and low lao. most importantly, just respect each other like
humans, the rest is decorations.
