Many of you asked, "What it will take for the Hmong to move forward?" I
believe education is the key to propel our people into the next century.
We as a group need to focus on education and initiate an action plan. To
begin, we need to create a United Hmong College Fund and offer the
scholarships to the brightest college bound students. We need to initiate
a stay in school campaign and expand educational community outreach
programs. This would be a good starting point.

In the past, I have successfully formed a non-profit 501 (c) 3

ctj and Born,

The idea is excellent. To make it happen a number of honest and
dedicated individuals need to put this idea into reality. But.....???

Chong,

I agree with you but it needs a some dedicated professionals to come
together to map the blue-print of the fund. So, the fund can be requlated
to fit the needs of the individual base on his/her status and
qualification.

Are we still fix our eyes on the fruits as the old folks did? They
never plant a fruit tree and yet they want to reap the most delicious
fruits.

I say pick a fruit tree, plant it and watch it grow. Then you can sit
back and give yourself a big smile for the wonderful fruits that the
tree yield.

I say look at the ground and know where you are going rather than fix
your eyes on the fruit. There's pothole on the road. You may fall
into it cuss it for being there.

create many overhead costs.
On the other hand, many of us are earning the wages of hand-to-mouth
only. How can we contribute? Thiab tseem yuav txuag cov nyiaj mus tham
nkaujhmoob tim Plog ne. Hahaha
