In response to the humanitarian crisis facing Lao and Hmong refugees
in Southeast Asia, on Thursday evening June 12, 2008, on Capitol Hill,
bipartisan legislation opposing egregious human rights violations and
military attacks in Laos as well as the forced repatriation of Hmong
refugees from Thailand back to the Lao regime they fled was introduced
in the U.S. House of Representatives.

*Sabaidee All.*
In my humble opinion, I think _Lao Patican right wing wackos_
together with their
_Hmong Allied_-The Hawk- want to use Hmong issue as *LIGHTING ROD *to "
*IGNITE*" another Lao Civil War, Part III,especially on the issue of
human right.
By all means, this is a *PRE-CONDITION* to interfere _with the
internal political affair _of another
sovereign state like Laos by the United States.
_This is my legal argument:_
*1./Tell me why our P D R Lao leaders have to answer to the questions
of US. congress?
/ 2/. Is Laos a US' colony?
/ 3*/*. If she is not, why US congress have a right to make decision
for Lao people?
*/ *T*hese are the fundamental questions which Lao people of all sides
have to ask themselves. */*
*/ In my legal interpretation, it is the same OLD TECHNIQUE with the
TONKIN RESOLUTION
by LBJ thirty some years ago. To make a case , U.S. government have to ...

LHL.
First of all, nothing feels like home. You have to ask yourself why
you are leaving your home land? Is it for economical reason, or
saving a person's life? In this case, Hmongs are accused, prosecuted,
harrassed times after times. That's only reason that they leave
everything the own behind Laos, hoping to get their basic freedom over
other places. Even living on the streets of Huay nam Khao is 100%%
safer than living in the Jungle of Laos. That is the reason, and only
one reason that they continue to stay in Thailand, eventhough Thai
army treat them like they are animals.
2ndly, why LPDR wants these folks back? Take back them, put them in
refugee camps within their own country? No outsiders can freely
visit? Why can't they allow these folks to move, migrate freely to
their own wishes, whether living in the hot plains, or on tops of
mountain like their own kinds have been living for centuries? What is
commie are afraid of since Hmong population in Laos only 10%%, of the
country?

Bak Laosucklao,
How much money did you corrupted from the organization you worked for?
No wonder you and LPDR are on the same team. Tell me why were you here
in the U.S in the first place? Did LPDR chase you like hell? You are
bak khaixat khai phandin viet ass kisser. Take your family back to
Laos if LPDR is so good to you. Go now... don't wait.

Dear Friends,
Needless to beg others to for help. They can help themselves and only
themselves can find a solution that is very simple and easy. Just pack
and go back home to make new life. The Government is willing to help
everybody to reintegrate her/his mainstream of Lao Multi-ethnic
society.
Why begging others who cannot never help.

I think the activists got it all wrong. Sure it's easy for members of
congress to write a letter that staffers draft and sign to Thailand
and ask the Thai government to help. Many times that letter gets read
then thrown in the trash, at the most another staffer in Thailand
drafts another letter that says they're doing their best, but at the
end of the day nothing happens. What they should really do is get
legislations pass to direct the State department to negotiate with the
Thais to bring them here, but then no one in congress will dare draft
that piece of legislation let alone vote on it because it'll have
teeth.

Indeed Cat. So terrible that people feel compelled to leave their
homeland in the first place.

The activist's ideas are poor. The 402 bill had no funding attached
to it. This sent no real message to the LPDR. If there are fundings
attched to it, hopefully someone will listen.
This afternoon which will be morning in Thailand, the Hmong Refugees
in White Water will have mess demonstration against the Thai and LPDR.
It could have been this group's ideas. Who knows?
