All my pics were taken in the mid afternoon of 5th May 2006. I took
the pic as we stopped our car on the southern side of the bridge.. then
I walked across the bridge to the other side and took the scond pic
from the northern end, looking toward Vientiane.

I guess YOUR pic may have taken EARLIER but not far apart. Noted that
the small cement post on the left hand corner of your pic is broken off
in my picture! but the red sign still up in the back ground.

Just another interesting thing... as I was leaving Vientiane, I heard
that a japanese firm has finished the feasibility study of the bridge
and a deal was being made for a new bridge. So, I stopped at this Nam
Lik to take a few shots of this famous/infamous bridge before it was
gone.

My earlier and new pic are the SAME pic (taken from the north looking
toward Vientiane side) and has NO cement post.

Do not confuse two of my earlier pics are TWO different pics, taken
from different end of the bridge. Your pix was taken from the northern
side of the bridge (looking toeard Vientiane side)... just compare your
pix and mine taken from the same side... hummm nothing bizarrrre he...
but no cement post!!!

That's wrong Pao!!!! We were goint to VangVieng. On our way back to VT,
it was dark, meaning no picture taken.
