Where's your anger and repugnance about what the terrorist ragheads did
to the 2 American soldiers they captured?!!!!
Am I to conclude from the absence of your response to the beheading,
eviscerating, torture, and death of the two American soldiers that you:
(1) Don't have a reaction to this barbaric act;
(2) Think this does not rise to the same level of barbarism and
repulsion as does the alleged rape and murder of the Iraqi family;
(3) Expect this kind of inhumanity from ragheads? (Ergo your silence on
the matter.)
I think it's time the U.S. pulls out of Iraq. We're trying to force
"democracy" onto people who don't know what to do with it. Frankly,
those f*cking Iraqis don't deserve democracy.
Let the f*cking wasteland implode.

are the lowest of the LOWEST!!! Who's proud of fuckers like these sick
fuckers??? They certainly doesn;t represent the integrity of the
american soldiers. As one fucker's mother said....""I don't believe the
charges and I'm still proud of him." She said her son always wanted to
be a soldier. ..................What a BITCH!! The correct phrase
should've been...."my son always wanted to be a killer and a rapist"!!!
Your son just raped and murdered an innocent family and you're still
proud of him? SICK!!!! Only dogs would find such hideous crime
acceptible.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - An al-Qaida-linked group claims it killed three U.S.
soldiers last month and mutilated two of their bodies to avenge the
rape-slaying of a young Iraqi woman by troops of the same unit, an
institute which monitors extremists Web sites said Tuesday.

Jim,
Chill out dude, remember that one principal those soldiers are fighting
for says that you are innocent until "proven" guilty. I know that is a
foreign concept to you and a lot of the posters to SCL but one that you
should all aspire to comprehend. You promote US values and principles for
all other countries but too quickly you forget the most important of those
principals yourself.

Dude, there's no principal in what these clowns did regardless of which
side they are figthing for....raping and murdering innocent civilians
in time of war or peace is NOT and can not be a value of any countries.
So your point is understated!

Even when the hard facts about Japanese democracy were staring you in
the face, there remained no chance of convincing you that you were
wrong then, so I harbor no hope of quelling your acrimony.
It seems you've based too much of your views on Japanese governance on
the movie "Shogun".
With regard to Japanese democracy you gave the U.S. too much credit.
The Japanese held their first election on July 1, 1890, filling a 300
member parliament aka the Diet. In this first election 170 members were
from anti-establishment (anti-feudal) parties, namely the
Constitutional Liberation and Constitutional Democratic parties.
Despite these democratic elections, an oligarchy of influential
business men and aristocrats exerted much influence until 1926. The
emperor was a figurehead not much different from the English royals.
At the time Japan went to war with the rest of Asia and the U.S., it
was a powerful military that influenced much (if not all) of Japanese
foreign policy.

Frank Lis,
me too tired to try to explain plain history to you.
http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2124.html
that be telling how AMERICA IMPOSED ITS FLAVOR OF DEMOCRACY ON JAPAN.
here let me copy/paste:
"A new constitution went into effect in 1947: The emperor lost all
political and military power, and was solely made the symbol of the
state. Universal suffrage was introduced and human rights were
guaranteed. Japan was also forbidden to ever lead a war again or to
maintain an army. Furthermore, Shinto and the state were clearly
separated."
LOL #1!
you be not arguing the facts and changing what we be yapping 'bouts.
here be another URL on how macarthur IMPOSED his will on JAPAN:

let me copy/paste again:

Frank,
your saying were by far milicious, if you were having a country of your
own, and a country would come without reason to take over your country,
you would be a die hard like the vietnamese, even you are the last
person standing you will still fight to the death. this war in iraq is
not a reason to fight, but a coning to get inside. if any one talked
about Sadam did to those people that he ordered to be killed, then it
is worst in this western world, if any group or any person that
attempted to assinant the head of the state as the preside..nt, that
would be wide out in no times.
just take a good look at Waco, Texas before we were crying of other
countries on what they were doing. those iraqi that are fighting
nowadays, whether family died in the hand of US bombs or killed by...

Talk about bait and switch!
It appears that you are now qualifying your earlier statement about
democracy being imposed on Japan. You're now qualifying that it
wasn't until post WWII that U.S. "flavored" democracy was
attempted on Japan. No duh!!! State the obvious, why don't cha.
P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C.
But loooongg before 1945, Japan had its own "flavor" of democracy
with all of its failings. ...here go read it yourself...read straight
from a Jap, Ryuji Watanabe:
http://www.jiyuu-shikan.org/e/faq/japan/democracy.html
What was the Iraqi "flavor" of democracy pre- 9/11, huh?
The big difference between the Japanese, the Germans, and the Iraqis is
that the Iraqis, as a group (Kurds, Sunnis, Shiites, etc.) have not had
much if any experience with democracy, let alone U.S. "flavored"
democracy. We tried imposing our "flavor" of democracy on those
people and what do they do? They want to base their constitution on
Sharia!!

B2BH,
What the hell are you babbling about?
We're talking about the U.S. expending valuable resources to bring
democracy to a region that has not had democracy but, instead, a long
history of strife and war with itself!
We're talking about U.S. men and women being murdered by these same
people to whom we're trying to bring the wonderful gift of democracy,
self-determination, freedom, and liberty!
I'm saying it aint worth it.
And you're saying:
"Try to put yourself in their shoes. If people have been killing you
for eons and someone comes along you'd want to kill them, too."
WTF?!! are you talking about, man?
Maybe your skull hasn't been thick enough--keep a good helmet on, my
friend!
