Today is Friday and I just kind of surf around youtube and came across
this video.
It brings some nostalgia from the past.
This singer is Mike Brant, a young israeli who was mute and only spoke
his first word at the age of 5, became overnight a superstar in France
in the 70.
During that time we were still kids living in a turmoilous Laos. He
live his life of stardom very shortly and took on his life in May
1975, the time when we lelft Laos. No one can really explain his death
but depression was the blame.
Although he passed awy his legacy survived and lived on for the next
10 years. All the young Hmong teenager including me who lived in
France in that period also admired him. We all were waiting the whole
night in a party and when Mike's song was played we rushed to our
girls just for a slow...
