I suppose VP can do that, but at the same time you may want to
consider that by so doing VP will be implicating himself and proving
his guilt. Better for VP to let the court process takes its course
and see if he has a chance to get off. As for suing others, I have no
doubt there were high-ups that pushed him to pursue a democratic Laos,
but I don't see a lot of evidence they were pushing him to pursue an
armed conflict, or especially a 9/11-like mass murder. As for his so-
called "friends" in high places, they want to keep talking about the
VP thirty years ago, the brave general who opposed all odds to fight
for freedom in Indochine. The fact of the matter is, that happened
thirty years ago, so who really cares what VP was like then or what
supposedly great accomplishments he made. The defense will probably
milk his previous sacrifices as much as possible, but be assured the
prosecution will be focusing on his contemporary conduct.
