What is really amazing is that some of you come often to read the stories I
posted in this website. You love my stories, no doubt about that.

I wish not to be one of the few generous writers who post good stories, love
stories, new perspectives on Hmong issues, and make them available to all
... . You may also want to share stories about passions for life. No one
would criticize you. People learn so much in reading stories .. I daresay
more in reading fictions ... .

Overcome the shyness, the feeling of inferiority, the mental obstacle,
writing to fulfill the secret life, the fictional dreams, writing to find
your self, your inspiration, to make yourself proud and useful. Write
stories, publish them in websites, to my website. No need to become famous
to write stories, to seek wealth and academic recognition, just write
wonderful stories, fame and wealth will come to you.

The more I write, the more I learn to write, to think, to structure my
stories, ... this is the best way to learn.

My last story "The Jasmin Fence" is inspired my walks in the afternoon to
borrow some movies -- some of you may not know, but I love movies, and I
teach a French conversion course on French movies -- suddenly, one
afternoon, the smell of the jasmine reminded me of other possbile lives.
From these 10 seconds, I caught a story that I connected to the Hmong
current issues: "women unfaithfullness". As I did not want to write about
this issue with stereotypes, I decided to propose another perspective on
women unfaithfulness. I want to show how powerful some of the Hmong women
have become -- they think and act, and move on to another life. Choosing the
man they love after years of marriage. Live for love. This story captures
very well the state of mind of many women of my knowledge. It is a
Contemporary issues in the heart of the Hmong community in the US. No noise,
no beating, no hatred, she divorces from him quietly. This is the new trend
in divorcing issue. Men need to learn to be more attractive, not only
physically but mentally, to become more sensible and to read women's mind in
a more smart way. -- I did not translate yet the story in English. If you
can read French, here is the link:

This website became so successful --- wherever I go, people love the
website.
