Dear SCHers,
Looking at the various posts in the last few weeks talking about "ob
ceg", it's worth re-thinking how we are portraying Hmong society to
the outside world and most importantly our younger Hmong generation.
How low would/should SCHers get? Is this the best we could do? Is
this how we leave our footprint? Are we trying to show our
stupidity? We can waste our time talking garbage all day or we could
actually discuss issues that matters to Hmong society. We don't need
to be "leaders" to affect change. We can start with ourselves - the
folks here at SCH. What say you?
Peace,
Hnub Kaj

Hnubkaj,
I sometimes do talk dirty but I have to agree with you. I believe
continuing this kind of discussions in here will certainly degrading
our image. However, I am sure some will argue that it is part of the
freedom of expression and press.

Thank you, Hnubkaj
I have hart time to understand why these people have such a thought,
just because we don't know them or never be able to see them. Why
dirty words and angry are come out.
I'm very disappoint of reading its.

I'd said the participants here neither highlight who/what Hmong
is...if anything, each person here represents himself... it simply a
place to cultivate/share ideas and kill times, that's it! If others
come here expected to be impressed by Hmong intellects....this is NOT
the place you'll find ALL of them. Of course...this is not to say that
decent moral judgement shouldn't be excercised when engaged in debate
with others.

WoooHoooo ... Thank you!!! I wonder why sometime SCHers even waste
their time typing such useless discussion. I am totally agreement with
you HnubKaj. It is a forum to discuss/cultivate, but there is limit to
and I am ashame to even have read few of them. There is this saying,
if you don't have anything to say, don't say it.

All4one,
I agree with you, as we are coming to SCH is not only to be decent
moral judgments. People come all over the world to this place, and you
cannot expect all genius and intellectual discussions, but we must
prepare to be able to absorb all walks of life. We are human beings,
and there is no perfect within all of us. We must let others to vent
out their stress and exhaustion. Censoring other thoughts,
expressions, and minds would be a detrimental to our freedom of
choices and speech. I thought that is the very basic fundamental
rights that each one of us never wants other to infringe upon us.
There is no single person to be right or wrong, because he/she needs
to express his/her emotion.
I sincerely hope that we all can with stand this type of post as well
as better post. We must live with open minds, for such new ideals or
ideas or any discussion. That is the very reason why it is so good to
live behind a screen name on a forum as SCH, as many of you had said
that this new generation has grew up to be selfishness and self-
center. Leader can walk on all walks of life LOL@zhen.

Thank you for your concern but you cannot change the mentality of
SCHlers here. All you can do in here is...express your opinion, be
prepared to agree to disagree with others, move on and smell the
rose!
